I was visiting from Tampa, FL and was recurating from minor surgery on my left ear. It was time to have the sutures removed, so I contacted Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care. They were able to get me in that day. The medical assistant that prepped me was extremely professional and friendly. She got my medical records from my Doctor in Tampa and went through them with me. The Doctor that removed the suturs was friendly and gentle - I didn't feel a thing even without Novicane. I highly reccomend them if you are ever in the area and need assistance.

pleased with the service I received @ Mercy Urgent Care Clinic. All the staff that I encountered were efficient and professional in caring for my needs. Would not hesitate to go there again if needed to.

“You wouldn’t be sitting here talking to me if what you’re saying is going on was actually happening.” I’m in the process of documenting medical necessity for my insurance so that I can skip conservative care (which I’ve already confirmed with my insurance, is what I need to do). I’m in an active episode today, and went to urgent care to have imaging/chart documented. The NP told me I wouldn’t be able to talk if I really was experiencing what I say I am (I’ve had these episodes for over ten years, I’ve learned how to deal). I explained I just wanted to get imaging done while I was in an active episode to support my insurance claim for medical necessity. She responded that there’s not a big button in life you can push to just skip steps. Unless your surgeon just magically knows what notes to put to deem medical necessity, you have to do what insurance says. (Maybe I’m dumb can someone explain to me why a surgeon wouldn’t know how to document medical necessity…?) So yeah I got no treatment, still in extreme pain, episode will probably be over by the time I have the surgery consult and believe it or not I don’t have an xray machine laying around at home to document these things as they happen myself. Sue me for thinking I could go to an urgent care, that advertises X-rays , for an xray. If you’re in pain and feeling miserable and would like to be invalidated and belittled at the same time, this is the perfect place for that!

I like the fact that I was able to walk in and be seen within a reasonable time. The staffs were polite and treated me with kindness and respect. I was only in the exam room a few minutes before the doctor came. He was polite and very detailed about my condition.

Walked in for a dog bite. The staff and physician were so kind. There was no wait. My Canadian husband commented, “Wow, in Canada this would have taken at least 2 hours, not 15 minutes.”
