Had to go to SSM URGENT CARE to get 2 labs and a chest x-ray. MY dermatologist ordered test as I drove to the facility about 5 mins away. Process was easy and got the work done. Ronnie completed the blood tests painlessly. Successful visit.

Excellent service. I walked in and received a warm greeting from the receptionist. A couple of minutes later Donny brought me to the lab and gave a painless blood draw. In and out in less than 5 minutes with friendly service. Thank you!

I visited this urgent care for a sudden illness and was very impressed with the level of care . The check-in process was smooth , the nurse omar is attentive , and the provider Priy listened carefully to my concerns. I was in and out within thirty minutes with a clear treatment plan. Excellent service! Good job team .

It was a pretty easy visit. I was seen fairly quickly and had minimal issues. It was a bit hard to get set up at first with details from my previous doctor referral. This was clarified later.

I scheduled an appointment for 11:00 a.m., but was not seen until approximately 12:30 p.m. While I understand that urgent care facilities must prioritize more serious cases, the purpose of offering appointment times becomes unclear when schedules are not adhered to in a reasonable manner. When the provider entered the room, the interaction felt hurried. I explained that I wanted to discuss potential treatment options, including a steroid injection and/or antibiotics. The provider responded with, “Oh, wishful thinking, huh,” which I personally perceived as dismissive and unprofessional. For clarity, I declined certain optional point-of-care tests that were offered. That was an informed decision, and I expected the same level of professional and respectful communication regardless. The provider did examine my lungs, throat, and ears and indicated that everything appeared normal. However, I continued to experience symptoms and was advised that the condition was likely viral and to continue using over-the-counter medications, which I had already been taking for four days without improvement. When I again asked whether a steroid injection or prescription treatment might be appropriate, the provider declined and explained that such treatment might provide only short-term symptom relief and could result in symptoms returning or remaining the same. I found that explanation unclear in light of my current condition. Overall, the visit left me feeling rushed and not fully heard. While I respect the provider’s clinical judgment, I was disappointed with the bedside manner and the overall patient-provider interaction. Based on this experience, I would not personally recommend this urgent care to individuals seeking a more attentive or communicative care experience. UPDATE: I was provided with a boiler plate/generic response to my review. Of course none of the concerns of the provider's bedside manner and unprofessionalism were responded to. I appreciate the response in general and the well wishes. However, I would have greatly appreciate a non-generated response. I am feeling better due to a telehealth visit with a different Nurse Practitioner and facility who had the upmost professionalism, respect, and bedside manner.
