Terrible place. I'm an honors student at UC Berkeley with a cumulative 4.00 GPA, have no psychiatric disorders aside from a moderate case of ADD, but I ended up spending a few days there voluntarily after experiencing acute delirium from work/school related stress. I was composed and polite the entire time, but most of the staff members were rude, impatient, and outright disrespectful.

The nurses are fabulous! However, the communication between them and the doctors seems to be nonexistent. The doctors tell the patient plans, etc. sometimes (not always) but the nurses find out from the patient! This hospital needs serious training in planning and communication!
