Ruth Jones a month agoI had to take a trip here last night because of vertigo. It is not my first time in the emergency room for vertigo. St. Joseph's did nothing when I went there. And I was there for about 7 or 8 hours. This place was amazing! For one thing I was out in less than 4 hours. They gave me medication. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I wondered about standalone emergency rooms, but I would definitely go here again and I recommend it for anyone in the area that has an emergency. I don't know how it would be for something like a heart attack. But for what I had or for my little friend who bumped his head and I took him and his parents there, it was a great choice. We are blessed to have this facility in our our community.
leonor Thope 6 months agoI brought my daughter to this ER seeking medical attention. The admission process was efficient and relatively quick, which I appreciated. She was medicated and underwent several tests during our stay. However, despite being in the room for over five hours, no physician came to personally evaluate her, explain the results, or provide discharge instructions. It is very concerning that a patient can receive treatment and testing without direct communication or assessment from the attending doctor.Just a NP that we assumed was who ordered The nursing staff was polite and professional, although it was evident that they were working under significant pressure. The front desk staff appeared extremely stressed, which unfortunately affected the overall atmosphere of the experience. While I understand that emergency departments can be busy, the lack of physician interaction after such a long wait is unacceptable and leaves patients and families feeling overlooked and uninformed.
Jonathan Ward a month agoAlways such a great and attentive team, the docors are always super welcoming and knowledgeable, I definitely got to give a shout out to the nurse, Bruno, I just had him as my nurse, he's always making sure that his patients are comfortable and has a great attitude, I definitely hope to have him as my nurse the next time around! Would definitely recommend this emergency room!
Bruce Wayne 6 months agoI had an extremely disappointing experience at this facility. From the moment the provider entered the room, her demeanor was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. She did not acknowledge my concerns, barely listened to my explanation, and appeared irritated before the conversation even began. Despite clear lab results showing no infection and no diagnosis, my concerns about a medication–supplement interaction were ignored. Instead, I was pushed toward a medication I explicitly stated I have had adverse reactions to in the past, with no attempt at discussion or alternatives. To make matters worse, I was refused a simple work excuse note, despite being evaluated for a legitimate medical concern that directly affected my ability to work. There was no explanation — just dismissal. This felt less like patient care and more like being rushed through a checklist. No empathy. No curiosity. No effort to understand the situation. Just assumptions and attitude. Healthcare should not feel adversarial. Patients should not be made to feel judged, dismissed, or burdensome for asking questions about their own bodies. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking thoughtful, respectful medical care.
Moonblossom Doll 5 months agoI feel like my concerns were pretty dismissed and unheard here for the first time ever. I came in for a potential serious reaction to medication and got told it was nerve pain without 0 prior testing to check if it was anything other than nerve pain(which nerve is still listed as a potential serious side effect to the med that you should contact doct immediately or go to ER for and since it was Saturday, ER was the only option of the two. I started the med 2 days ago... the pain started 2 days ago...). They wanted to latch on to the idea it was nerve pain entirely too fast which could easily cost a life or prolonged health issues later if someone is having a serious medical reaction which is negligent on their part. They even wrote that my visit was for "nerve pain" on my discharge papers which was pretty insane to change why I visited. They sent me off with meds which helped the symptoms but that doesn't change any risk factors. They wanted to treat the symptom instead of trying to find/trying to treat the cause. They took 0 looks at the medical sheet (that came with my medication) I was going off of to discribe my symptoms as well. Again, not so much as a urine test to check organ functions or mediction levels in the system, ect. They rushed me out and did not feel like thoroughly doing their jobs in my opinion. They were friendly but what does friendly do for anyone when paired their dismissiveness and unwillingness to investigate anything. It's probably best to avoid this spot and just go to TGH hospital for emergencies even if the wait is longer, you're likely to at least get a test or two done to better protect your health. I feel bad to give the negative review since usually I got at least some help here in the past especially when I had pneumonia but I don't know if the current staff really cares to hear the patient and that is risky in emergency scenarios.
