This was my first time choosing TGH Urgent Care, as I normally go to CVS MinuteClinic, so I was a little nervous. But oh my goodness! It was the best, easiest experience and I felt extremely cared for from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist warmly welcomed me and handled all of my check-in paperwork for me, which made everything so simple and stress-free. She was an absolute delight! My attending nurse was equally wonderful, so kind, fun to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. She truly understood what I was going through and showed genuine concern. The doctor was amazing. She took the time to listen, was very thoughtful about my well-being, and made sure I felt confident that my prognosis would be successful and that I’d be feeling better within a day or two. I left feeling reassured, cared for, and so grateful. Thank you for such an outstanding experience, I will definitely be back!

This was my first visit to this urgent care. I was treated very well from my arrival through my first contact with a very kind and knowledgeable MA to my exam from a PA. He sent me for an x-ray to an office close by even giving me the address. He told me he would call me with the results when he received them with final directions for my two prescriptions. I was back home from all three stops in two hours which I was so happy about. This was a perfect alternative for me when my own Dr’s office had no appointments that day. I am relieved to know this professional clinic is in my neighborhood. Thank you

After looking around at different clinics tgh urgent care was my best option they are walk in but all I did was go online to save my spot 15 min after I found them on google and show up. It was quick and easy I took my son for a sports physical since his primary care doctor had no available appointments until December. I was also surprised to find out when I called their office that they had a discount running until the end of September that their physical are 25$ I think originally their physical are 55$ so I was very happy and over all the doctor was nice and we were the only patients there so we were in and out in about 30 mins

First of all the doctor and staff were kind, but I am not sure how many stars to give. The issue I have, is that when I called the number on google, I believe I was talking to an operator who might cover multiple clinics. I asked if I would be able to get an IV, because I knew I was simply dehydrated, I was told over the phone that I could, but when I got to the clinic, the doctor saw me and told me if I need an IV I need to go to the emergency room. Maybe that is normal practice but they could’ve told me that over the phone because I was a no shape to be walking in 95° heat and I had to park three blocks away and a parking garage. So now I was going to have to walk three blocks back into the parking garage and go find some other parking near the hospital and it’s just BS.

I initially visited this urgent care on Wednesday after already being treated for a fever at another TGH location on Sunday. At that point, I had been experiencing a fluctuating fever (ranging from 99–103) since Sunday, what made me go in was a severe and unusual pain in my right shoulder blade area and no fever improvement. Despite these symptoms, the NP diagnosed it as a muscle spasm and prescribed muscle relaxers. After taking the medication that night, I woke up in the middle of the night vomiting. I discontinued the muscle relaxers immediately and followed the recommendation to use over-the-counter medication instead. However, my symptoms did not improve. By Friday, I returned to the same urgent care with continued pain, fever, and a cough. I was told I had a severe flu and was going to be sent home, but I personally requested a chest X-ray because both I and my family felt something more serious was going on. Initially, nothing was identified, but later I received a call from the radiologist confirming that I had pneumonia. I was then prescribed two antibiotics. If I had not advocated for myself and requested that X-ray, my condition could have worsened significantly. It’s also concerning to think about what could have happened if I had continued taking medication that was not appropriate for my condition (muscle relaxers). I am extremely frustrated that my diagnosis and treatment were delayed due to what appears to be a misdiagnosis. Additionally, I paid out of pocket for both visits—$235 each time—plus $25 for a prescription I didn’t need. I also had to return and incur further costs simply to get the correct diagnosis. I believe this situation was mishandled and unacceptable. I would appreciate the opportunity for management to review this case and work with me toward a resolution.
