The West Gandy Clinic front desk receptionist was very nice and very helpful when I called to schedule a same-day appointment for my wife and me because we both had the flu. Their process was easy and stress-free. The doctor’s assistant took our information and vitals efficiently. She was nice, patient, understanding, and professional. The doctor was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. We picked up our medication at the pharmacy and are hopefully on the way to recovery. Overall, everyone at the West Gandy Clinic we interacted with was professional, friendly, and positive. It was a very good experience for a couple who were very sick with the flu. However, the AI phone system you have to deal with before it finally transfers you to a real person at the West Gandy Clinic was difficult to use. It was unforgiving, did not understand responses well, and was frustrating and irritating before finally reaching a real person at the clinic.

I used the save my spot feature available and was pleasantly surprised at the short wait time. The staff and the doctors were very attentive and warm. I am especially grateful because my own primary care doctor said they couldn’t see me for an entire week and wouldn’t help me in any way shape or form Despite despite me being an established patient for several years. Thank you for being here during my time of need!

TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track – South Tampa (Gandy Blvd) I had a very positive experience at this location. The clinic is bright, open, spacious, and extremely clean. The front desk staff was cordial and welcoming. The doctor’s assistant was pleasant, helpful, skillful, and had a wonderful people‑first personality. The doctor was thorough, kind, and genuinely attentive to my needs. Overall, it was a good experience under the circumstances, and I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others. Great experience! I was there at 8 AM and on my way home by nine. I saw Sarah, the PA and she listened to what I was experiencing. She took into Account my previous medical issue and I left with a prescription for the medication that I needed. 24 hours later I’m feeling much better!

Very disappointed with how this urgent care handled my friend’s situation. My friend is 17 and had a splenectomy 3 months ago, so infections can be more serious for him. He had a fishhook injury the night before and woke up with redness and what looked like possible pus. We arrived before they opened and tried to get him seen, but the front desk staff member had an attitude and denied him care instead of calmly helping us figure out the safest next step. What made it worse is that she acted like we could just put rubbing alcohol on it, which felt careless considering his medical history and the possible infection. I understand policies exist, especially with minors, but the way it was handled was unprofessional and dismissive. At minimum, they should have treated the situation with more urgency, explained the policy clearly, and directed us to the ER immediately instead of brushing it off. I would not trust this location for anything urgent.
