Over 3 hours before pain medication was brought to the room. Specifically requested no narcotics/opiods and they originally brought morphine. All they say is "in a few minutes" and they miss those time frames EVERY time. When you are promising someone in pain that you are going to treat them and then you make then wait 3 hours, you are simply a bad person. Not to mention how rough Staff RN Hailey was with the IV. She had no regard for what she was doing, her body language and overall demeanor was screaming the fact she did not want to be there. When she was asked what "a few minutes" meant after we were promised someone would come help in a few minutes she stated "I cannot give medicine, that is not what my DEGREE is in." That wasnt the question, Hailey. The question was are you going to keep lying to us or will you make good on your word? I know being a nurse is very important to you, but you need to work on your people skills. You are unfathomably lucky to work in an industry that is desperate for more staff or you would be replaced. You are complacent, rude, and terrible to your patients. Roll your eyes at more patients Hailey.. I'm sure its good for your career. Rolling eyes when someone IN PAIN asks for help in your hospital. Disgraceful. In case there are multiple Hailey's, as im sure there are, this particular incident was night of September 18th from 5 to about 10:30pm.

I went in there for abscess in my ear 24 hours later I returned.. because my ear filled with fluid and I could not hear out of it and it got increasingly painful.. they place me far far far far away in the back and no one came to see about me for 40 or 50 minutes.. I then went to seek help twice before the nurse finally showed up and he was argumentative. I asked was anyone going to take my vitals he verbatim that he was just going to use the vitals from triage. I was like what no that is not protocol nor is it okay. It was not a busy evening at the ER. I was treated like I was a frequent flyer just because I can't 24 hours the day before. And this is the second time I was treated like that. It didn't set well I didn't make a scene or records. But I let the doctor and the charge Nurse know how it made me feel and how was done like this before a few years ago and the reason why they did it; I let them know that I was medically trained and I was employed by Vanderbilt medical center in Nashville Tennessee for many years and the reason why we treated patients like they treated me. It's for frequent flyers and alleged drug seekers I'm neither... Again, I complain to the charge nurse and also let her know the doctor had mediocre bedside manner very nonchalant... Like I was wasting your time... I was discharged a minute after the doctor seen me. The next day I received multiple calls. I appreciate it but it's a little too late this is the second time. I went through that we have to be our biggest advocate and don't let any medical staff or anyone treat you any kind of Way... .... 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 Troy D Lane

DO NOT COME HERE. WORST ER IN ATLANTA. My pregnant wife was having a severe allergic reaction and we wait for 5 hours and all they did was take blood. A ridiculous wait. Unprofessional. Watched a guy basically die in the waiting room and staff barely moved. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO

My pregnant girlfriend had a seizure. I rushed her to the emergency room here at piedmont. We arrived at approximately 7:40 pm. Where they got us back to do blood work quickly. And then with no other words to us we waited for over 5 hours to be seen. We were left knowing nothing about our unborn child for hours. It is now 1 am as I write this review and I still know nothing. Never come here for emergencies. The staff is friendly and professional kudos to them, but it just isn’t enough to make up for the ridiculous amount of time you are in the building.

Pray you don’t have to come here. Extreme wait times like no other. Been here for 4+ hours and have yet to be seen. Update: came in at 10:30 PM, was seen at 5:30 AM, didn’t leave until 7:00 AM. Nurse on duty had my medicine ready for about an hour until she remembered to give it to me for my High fever and body chills… she opened admitted to me that she forgot. NP (nurse practitioner) on duty was lovely however forgot to include my doctors note for work (no biggy). Went in same day in the evening and Head Nurse didn’t want to give me my doctors note for the amount of time my NP directed me with, instead wanted to give me a two day doctors note. Mam, a doctors note for the weekend? Lesson: please double check before you leave this place (although I recommend you go anywhere else) and be direct about your level of care. Also: If you’re a POC, take notice at who they call in first.
