Chose it because of its high rating, but very disappointed. It pushes you to use cash by charging a high credit card fee(3.5%?). You pay cash and get a handwritten receipt, instead of a printed one. The transaction doesn't even go into their system. I think everyone knows what it means. And a very long waiting time when I showed up on time. And I notice it says you will be charged 20 more for a weekend appointment because the employees work overtime for your convenience. That's funny. It wants making more money by opening in the weekend but don't want to pay extra for its employees and then ask the patients to pay for that for the sake of the patients' convenience. How grateful I feel. My recommendation is to choose a large hospital like Oschner or LCMC Health, instead of this private clinics.

⚠️ LOUISIANA SCAM ALERT! ⚠️ I have multiple disabilities and visited this clinic in Louisiana to get certified for medical marijuana. Dr. Hai Nam Nguyen charged me $330.00 for the “certification” (his word, not mine). After finally receiving the certification, I went to the dispensary on Tchoupitoulas Street, where the staff told me that medical marijuana certifications are supposed to be free. Kenny then tells me that I have to pay an EXTRA $160.00 every three months or I can’t use their medical marijuana. That is $640.00 a year not including the $330.00 I already paid for the “certification” or the cost of the cannabis— SCAM ALERT! Their staff even lies in their response on this post, acting like they never charged the prices they required me to pay (listed above). To make matters worse, the dispensary charged me nearly $300.00 for just ONE OUNCE of cannabis which is 50% more expensive than other medical marijuana states. Unfortunately, my experience made it feel like the entire system—from the clinic to the dispensary—is designed to take advantage of people, especially those who are vulnerable or low-income. It feels more like an exclusive club that profits off the people who need help the most. In my opinion, this is just another example of how Louisiana’s systems can be exploitative—especially toward those who are already disadvantaged by race or income.

I must say that 9/15/2023, was my first visit and it was a very good experience. My initial interaction was with nurse Kaylee. She was amazing. She has a beautiful, caring, and welcoming spirit. My next interaction was with my lab tech. I apologize that I don't remember her name, but she was also amazing. I have been told that I my veins are difficult to find. Well this time I didn't even feel the usual pinch and days later, still no bruising. Thank you two for making my first visit a great one.

It’s always so hot in here like they trying save on the light bill. The wait is long for the few minutes he rushed us out of there. The staff talks other people business in front of other patients. The hassle definitely ain’t worth it for the so called “neighborhood convenience”. Won’t make another dime off me or mine!
