I came in the In & Out Urgent care uptown location for a medical concern and from the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with exceptional care. Ms. Ty at the front desk set the tone immediately—handling a busy flow of patients while managing phone calls with pure professionalism and grace. Her energy was warm, her smile was welcoming, and she made the entire check-in process feel smooth and effortless. What really stood out to me was her composure under pressure. While I was there, an irate patient began yelling in the lobby, and Ms. Ty handled the situation with incredible calm and professionalism. She was able to de-escalate the situation without feeding into the tension, maintaining a respectful and controlled environment for everyone present. That alone spoke volumes about her character and customer service skills. On top of that, my wait time was minimal—despite being a walk-in, I was seen quickly, which honestly surprised me in the best way. Once I was taken to the back, the level of care only got better. Every single staff member—from the MAs to the nurse to the provider—was attentive, kind, and genuinely focused on my needs. I never felt rushed, not even for a second. They took their time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I fully understood my next steps moving forward. This experience was hands down far better than going to the emergency room for what I needed. Efficient, compassionate, and professional across the board. Big thank you to Ms. Ty and the entire team—you all are truly amazing.

Good availability when I went, only had to wait 15 minutes with an appointment. Once in I was taken care of right away. Convenient location to Tulane university, and the insurance plans that they accept, considering I am from California and have Kaiser Permanente HMO. The nurse practitioner that I saw was very respectful, kind, and easy to speak with.

I was admitted promptly after making a an appointment the same day. The doctor and staff were very kind and helped me to xray and diagnose a fracture inside of an hour. I was referred for next steps and left with helpful paperwork. It was a great experience. Glad I chose this facility

I scheduled an appointment for care this morning. When u arrived at the So. Claiborne location, I was not on their schedule. I mistakenly scheduled with the Metairie. The admission clerk said, no problem, I can transfer the appointment to the So Claiborne location. This was a tremendous help for me. Once checked-in, the nurse called me in less than one minute.  Same time for attending provider.  Visit was less than an hour.

The staff is friendly and professional. The receptionist was welcoming, which was great because often doctor's offices have grumpy rude staff, which just makes everything so awful, especially when you're not feeling well and you're just trying to get medical care. But I found everyone here to be kind and courteous. The nurse practitioner I saw was knowledgeable and professional. I was seen very quickly and had no issues with my insurance. I recommend this place.
