Jas B 6 months agoHorrible experience. I would not recommend coming here for any basic urgent care needs. The provider was spewing out non-factual information about COVID and Flu treatments. Denied testing and crucial antiviral therapy. Told a patient having an asthma exacerbation that "nebulizers do not work on adults and would not help" although this is completely false and has no scientific evidence to support. (I believe she was trying to make a point about research showing that inhalers with spacers can be just as effective, however, we had already explained that use of inhaler at home was not helping and when this occurred last year a nebulizer was very effective). Provider Dr. F Ribas was completely unaware of current recommendations that are researched and studied related to Tamiflu and Paxlovid. (Was talking about side effects and rebound COVID concerns, stated that it was not recommended for a healthy young person although the patient has multiple serious chronic conditions including uncontrolled asthma. Would not listen when we explained this. Her mind could not be changed even with new information being presented. Also, current research says the benefits of the medication still far outweigh those risks and have a serious impact of reducing risk of severe illness and hospitalization, as well as long term complications from COVID). Provider was inappropriate with body language, did not ask the patient before touching and surrounding the patient. Overall, seriously disappointing visit. We came with a seriously ill patient and the provider said it was no concern and refused to do basic evidence-based standards of care for flu-like symptoms and asthma exacerbation. I am not sure if this was just because the patient was Latino and was a result of discrimination or if the provider truly does not know current, evidence based standards of care. So disheartening. We left with the patient still struggling to breathe. (Also, told us she was prescribing two medications and gave first dose at the office. Got to the pharmacy, she prescribed two completely different medications she had not discussed with us.)
Maddie Catlin a month agoI have historically loved this clinic and the midwife I see there. This year, I have needed to see a different provider for a time-sensitive procedure (with possible health consequences if delayed) and have been cancelled on THREE times by this OBGYN – once on the morning of the appointment, another time because she decided to take overlapping PTO, and then another time because she changed her availability. Each of these cancellations has delayed my care by weeks (now totaling in months), and the third instance felt absolutely egregious. Even if your availability changes going forward, my most recent appointment was less than two weeks away when it was cancelled – how does your updated availability supersede existing commitments to patients? Does a provider's availability take effect instantly and cancel all impacted patient bookings? After all of this, my trust is broken and I'm left feeling disrespected. Fortunately, the scheduler I spoke to on the phone today was very sympathetic and helpful, and I ended up booking with another provider who hopefully won't do this to me again.
Danyel Alexander 2 months agoEverything was impeccable. From the phone call to arrival. Staff was helpful and engaging. Dr. Evan was compassionate and kind. As well as the RN (Charlie?), truly seemed to care. 😀
Carmen Johnson 4 months agoSuch a Great Experience! The entire clinic staff was so respectful! got me in and out very quickly. Dr. Jack Ball listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable and heard. I’d recommend greenway clinic any day!
Cindy T a month agoI believe Dr Coplin is a very understanding dr and will refer you to someone else if she cannot help you. I have seen her for awhile and she’s been patient and has always made sure what to do next. I have a very complex system and she has been very good with me.
