Camille Horn 3 months agoI had a really amazing experience here. I used the online tool to reserve a time slot. The appointment was on time. Once I was taken back, the nurse took my information and the doctor came in fairly quickly. Dr. Sandra was so attentive, patient, and took a lot of time to explain everything, go over options and procedures. She even got a second opinion from another doctor on how to treat my injury. She definitely wanted to give good care and it was noticed. After the procedure was done and bandage up, she came back and answered all my questions on wound care and was very honest about next steps. The facility was very clean and the staff were friendly.
Brianna Danicich 3 months agoSince it appears my google review was removed, I am going to write it again. I will continue coming to this clinic only because I adore Dr. Emily Newman and her bedside manner is incredible. However, that is where the good stops. On December 26th, 2025, I had an e-visit with Shannon Larson. She advised based on my symptoms that she believes I had a UTI but that I should go in and have a lab which I planned to do, however, she had already sent a prescription to my pharmacy without even confirming that is what I had. I went on the 27th to the Edina lab to have the urine test done and it was a terrible experience. When I went back to the bathroom, another person's urine was in the door where you put your sample. This is completely unsanitary. Fast forward to after the test when I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist told me the dose that was prescribed was double what it should be and that I should not take the dose. I called in to the nurse line and they advised the doctor doubled the dose "by accident" which is completely unacceptable. The worst part of all of this, it turns out my test came back negative for a UTI so I was taking medication without even needing it. I filed a complaint with their member services and never heard back. This level of care is not only appalling but dangerous!
ARTEZUI 2 months agoWent in because my partner hurt their side due to an overextension. Got in around 7-ish and my partner was seen fairly quickly; an X-ray was requested by us to make sure their hip wasn't misaligned and that was delivered pretty quick. Everything turned out okay. My low rating mostly comes from how the staff treat their patients when they aren't around. We heard them laughing at our situation and dismissing my partner's concerns as being hyperbolic from the other room. This is not a good way to treat people that genuinely seek help whether or not you think their concerns are worth your time; we are just making sure nothing serious is happening and being made fun of is cruel to do in a moment of panic.
Doug Silver 6 months agoWaited 45 minutes to get in despite there only being one other person in the waiting room. I was dizzy, shaking, and was nearly unconscious by the time the 45 minute wait was up. I told the nurse directly that I was about to pass out, that I did not feel comfortable being left alone because I felt like my condition was going to escalate, and she left immediately after that. I managed to hang on for approx. 2 minutes, using the phone in the room and my raised voice to try and tell someone that I was going to pass out. After that, I did pass out. The next time I was awake was 20 minutes later and I had defecated and had to be woken up again by the staff who had come - again, 20 minutes later - to check on me. That staff member made a snippy comment about me defecating myself when I passed out. After that, some tests were done (strep and COVID) - this took approximately 10 minutes. Both came back negative. They said they didn't know what I had, that they'd done all they could for me, and sent me on my way back home in an adult diaper. I have an insurance policy that covers visits like this, but was charged an eye popping $800 for a visit where I passed out and nobody came to check on me or 20 minutes! Not only that - the bill came six months after the visit! I've never had an experience this humiliating or dangerous at an urgent care before. This is the only time I have ever written a Google Review, and probably will stay that way.
Lasterday a year agoI showed up to the Fairview Edina (Southdale) urgent care, in NEED of medical attention @ 3:45pm on a Saturday (POSTED closing time is 5pm) . While walking in through the almost completely empty parking lot, I arrived at the clinic door as they pulled into position the “At Capacity” sign (pictured) …. I playfully asked .. still take me, right (assuming they would) as it was clearly a struggle for AND because I had arrived before they even finished unfolding this Sign. Reception looked up at me momentarily and stated… “we are at capacity” I thought I was hallucinating from the fever, or starring in a new “ Urgent Care Prank Show”… there wasn’t a car in the lot, or a sole in the waiting room. I asked … really? … she again replied “capacity” Well apparently capacity is ZERO an hour and fifteen minutes before closing on a Saturday. - it sounds like MANY others have had similar experiences with this particular clinic. - maybe just change your Business Hours, rather than lure sick people to your door, just to turn them away. Booooo!!! Southdale Urgent Care! … Get your Act Together! ****** - FYI Bloomington Oxboro UC is FANTASTIC - their staff is accountable to their patients, and very friendly… Almost Never a Wait more than 10 minutes. GO there instead! ****
