I made an appt on their website at 8 and got into the office by 940. Incredible admin staff and Dr. Okoye is one of the kindest doctors I have been to in a very long time. She is thorough and obviously cares about every patient who walks through the door. If you are uninsured I can’t recommend this office enough.

Let me just say this if you have a appointment at 145pm or 2 pm you can guarantee you will be here for atleast 3 hours. I have been coming to Dr Sylvia since 2019. I absolutely love her. Dr Sylvia is a beautiful woman and a blessing. Nurse Dominick is great. She tries very hard to keep the irritating patients calm especially me. The spanish young lady is very pleasant. She smiles a lot and very understanding. The Asian gentleman who works here is caring and tries real hard. But I am too the point after 7 years of waiting 2 to 4 hours after my appointment time to see the doctor. I mean I have other things to do beside sit in a darn office. No respect for other people and their time. Dr Joseph is normally not very nice and once he does come in te room he literally spends 3 to 5 minutes with the patient. I feel they just do not care about the patients feelings or the time the patient devotes to their practice.

This location doesn't deserve any stars. I have dealt with this location multiple times i have been rescheduled over 7 times due to lack of staff and doctors. They dont take walk ins and the staff is rude they will call last min and rescheduled your appt stating the doctor had to leave early. The wait is over a 40 mins. Plus after rescheduling you they will push the appt 2 weeks out or a week. I wont come to the location at all in the future the staff and doctors are very rude and impolite the lack of not caring about someone time shows

The front desk staff are welcoming, respectful, and ensure they get all the information needed to complete my appt. Jasmine did a wonderful job with obtaining my labs and was personable! She went above and beyond with care for me during my annual. The doctors are very informative and professional. I know I am in safe hands.

If you are considering Dr. Sylvia for surgical clearance, especially for plastic surgery, just don’t do it. I am warning you from personal experience: her negligence, lack of professionalism, and refusal to take accountability caused my surgery to be canceled the very morning it was scheduled. I went to Dr. Sylvia for a one-time clearance appointment because my regular doctor had no availability. I was told the visit could be billed to insurance, only to later find out I had to pay $195 out of pocket. That was frustrating enough, but I paid it, assuming I’d at least walk away with what I needed. Her office delayed sending the clearance to my surgeon, and I had to follow up repeatedly just to be allowed to pick up the paperwork myself to get it in on time. When I picked it up, Dr. Sylvia personally reviewed the forms with me and never once mentioned that she included a line implying I had cardiac issues or that I needed post-operative monitoring for heart concerns. There was no warning, no explanation, and no indication she had added anything of the sort. Most importantly, there was no validity to that statement. On the morning of my surgery, I received a call from my surgeon’s office. They had just reviewed her note and were unable to move forward. Because of the false implication that I had heart issues, my surgery was canceled on the spot. I do not have a cardiac condition. I have no history of heart problems, no symptoms, no diagnosis, and no testing to support what she wrote. Dr. Sylvia is not my primary care physician, has never treated me before, and made this dangerous assumption without any medical justification. My surgeon’s office immediately reached out to her to explain the situation and request that she remove or amend the inaccurate note. Dr. Sylvia refused. Her refusal to correct her own mistake is what caused my surgery to be canceled. There is no other reason. She had every opportunity to fix it and chose not to. When I called to express how devastating this was emotionally and financially, she showed no compassion or accountability. Instead, she berated me, talked over me, and insulted my surgeon, trying to undermine their credibility. Her behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for a medical provider. What’s even more shocking is that this is not an isolated incident. After this happened, my surgeon’s office informed me that they have had multiple patients experience the exact same problem with Dr. Sylvia. They described my situation as “a lawyer’s wet dream.” This is a clear pattern. Dr. Sylvia is putting patients at risk and showing zero accountability when her actions cause serious consequences. I’m truly shocked that this clinic is still in business.
