I was admitted to ER for extreme pain on my left hip. The two ER nurses that admitted me were amazing. The gentleman listened to all of my health complaints. He was very thorough and patient. They made me feel comfortable during the admitting process. The treating physicians Dr. Due and Dr. Sudh were amazing. They listened to my pain issues, they asessed the area affected very thoroughly, and they explained to me, what their treatment plans, to help relieve my pain. The treating nurse and staff were so patient and understanding, and I truly appreciate all of their efforts. My experience with Ascension St. John's Medical Center ER staff on Wednesday night June 3, 2026 was outstanding and proficient.

The experience with the ED Physician Hutto William wasn't a experience that would make me recommend other's at all. I did walk out alive all Glory be to God. The staff was kind but the ED Physician Hutto was dismissive and canceled the procedure for a CT due to me informing that they give me allergy medication due to the dye. He then came in and asked was I ready to go home and that he was going to look at my results. He closed the room door and told them to discharge me. I went in for experience of chest pain and weird symptoms of having to release from both ends of my body along with burning sensation all the way around mid body section. Blood pressure was extremely elevated. I ask for MY nurse and they sent a guy in to talk to me and release me. Nobody explained what happened or didn't happen with my experience. Nurse folded papers and handed with a good day. No one went over discharge information or anything. Informed me that the Dr was busy saving people near death lives. I didn't understand what I had done to deserve that kind of care or dismissive treatment. I went home afraid of my health experience due to no conversation about my experience that caused my visit. I would like to tell myself that it was just bad bedside manner, however I'm not sure if it was other such as NATIONALITY, GENDER, OR LACK OF CARE AT ALL. I did contact my primary care physician for a follow up. I have always received the best of care at ST JOHN'S Hospital and that's why I had EMSA take me there. It had been more than a decade since I had been in to that hospital. I was so disappointed in the experience. The nursing staff was amazing. Thank you to the nurse staff for the gentle care and respectful experience from all. Prayers that was a one time experience and that the Dr was just having a overwhelming day.

Staff friendly and easy to work. Coming in to ER and after a long wait to a room at2:30 in the morning greeted by Courtney who was top tier friendly getting my mom settled in was a relief. Kim, Fredia, Rere,Penny, Molly, Katrina , Rachel, Brooke … and anyone else that had a hand in my mom’s care especially during the brutal cold weather, snow and ice staying at the hospital and coming back to work their schedule with call ins happening … great teamwork!!!! Thank each and everyone involved for your service. Your directors should show you how much they appreciate your dedication to your profession! Totally awesome!!!!

I have been very few times to an ER in my 64 years. ASJ was without a doubt the best experience yet. The lady at the front desk was kind and quickly checked me in. The waiting area was almost empty and very clean. I was quickly seen by triage by two nurses who made me laugh and not feel like a burden. I thought it must be a slow day until I was taken to the exam room. There must be at least 30 rooms back there and I felt like I just walked on the set of “The Pitt”. There were medical, ambulance and police people everywhere hustling. I got to my room and an RN came in almost immediately. She was calm and said today was a pretty slow day. She didn’t rush me even though I was feeling like I didn’t require such quick attention. I quickly had a CT scan, met with the Dr, got my diagnosis and medication and on my way home in less than 3 hours. I would trust any level of care with these amazing people.

Too many different t people who got con fused with my information but the lady giving me stitches was very good However - my teeth that were knocked out were LOST. They refused to give them to my family. They were very expensive crowns I could have bused temporarily. The nurse person lost hem and then said she didn’t even tember having them I am. Very upset about that. THose were 3,000.00 crowns I now have to pay for again! Someone owes me money The blonde nurse who put in my stitches was very good. Only one who seems to know what was you going on Also I was home cleaning my Mouth after all this and there was a tiny rock on my lip!!!! I really need those crowns or reimbursement Also the metal things that were stuck all get me for some kind of testing were not removed I received a statement for over 9,000.00 for all of this. I need the coat of the crowns you lost deducted from that amount BEFORE it is sent to insurance. I will not okay the claim like it is
