Sammi Sam 4 months agoIf I could give this place zero stars I would. I got there, waited 3 hours to be seen, heard them taking people that came in way after me, and then one that needed an interpreter so it took twice as long. I asked if they skipped me and the MA said “sorry”. All for them to spend 30 seconds examining me to tell me there was nothing they could do. I left and surprise surprise all the lights were out and I was the last patient even though at least 6 people came in after me. DO NOT GO HERE. There are too many competent urgent care facilities. What a nightmare.
A 5 months agoI'm just going to copy my dispute I'm sending to my insurance: "1/22/26 Appeals Unit for HealthChoice: I am writing to dispute a charge of $121.16 from “Utica Park UC Brookside Urgent Care” in Tulsa, OK (address in screenshots attached) due to HealthChoice not covering more of the full charge from my visit with Haleigh Wistosky, NP at that facility. On January 21, 2026, I received the bill in the mail and called your customer support after typical business hours. I was told by a HealthChoice representative on the phone that I was responsible for the bill of $121.16 because Utica Park/Hillcrest were not “in-network.” However, when I had checked in at the desk for the visit that happened on December 21, 2026, they had assured me they were in-network with HealthChoice. I called Utica Park UC Brookside Urgent Care’s reception desk the next day on January 22, 2026 and once again they verified that HealthChoice was in-network. This was after I called their billing (the number listed on the copy of the bill they sent, copy attached) and asked them to resubmit to HealthChoice under their other name that came up in HealthChoice’s list of providers, which was “Access Medical Center.” On December 21, 2025, I did a search for in-network providers on the HealthChoice portal to find an urgent care provider near me because I needed urgent care. A screenshot of that search and another showing the metadata of the image is attached with this letter, showing that an “Access Medical Center” came up on the HealthChoice website as a recommended place for members to go to. This is the SAME ADDRESS as what is listed for the Utica Park on Brookside Urgent Care, as you will see on the Google search results provided. As I said before, on December 21 when I needed care, I asked the front desk at this Urgent Care to verify it was the same place when making sure they were in-network, and they did, saying they had just been bought out but that HealthChoice was still in-network. It appears that Hillcrest owns the Utica Park facilities. The HealthChoice representative on the Jan. 21 phone call told me that Hillcrest was not in-network. It appears this Urgent Care is either operating under two names or your website is giving out bad information that has now seemed to charge me over $100. I have asked their billing to investigate, but you may need to update your record to stop recommending this place to your members. Their billing department told me it will be 30 to 40 days while they investigate the issue (from January 22, when I called them), but I think you should also step in and make this right. I should not be held responsible for your mistake in recommending this facility. You will see in the attachments provided that the address and phone number is the same for Utica Park UC Brookside Urgent Care’s and Access Medical. They are the same facility. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, [redacted]"
Edward Kirchoff 2 years agoIt’s been a year since I’d been to Access Medical Center, and I am pleased to know they haven’t changed, and deserve every one of the 5 stars I gave it last time. If I could give more today, I would. I was seen very quickly even as a walk in. Leny, the nurse (though I apologize if she has a different title- she also took my x-rays and wrapped my hand) was seriously professional though being funny and sincere at the same time. She proudly wore her different hats and made me feel at ease. The PA that saw me was Meriden. She was so sweet and highly professional, yet really listened to my issues and offered her support and sympathy. She was truly impressive. I could tell she truly cared about people. The building and design are dated, but clean. They accept Medicaid (Sooner Care) and Medicare and have an online check in and virtual visits available. So, if you’re looking to find a clinic that will treat you humanely and not like a number or head of cattle, take a trip near Brookside and check them out. Speedy and friendly, quick and caring. A rare find in health care today. Very quick. Thank you all!
Adrian Baca 6 years agoVery impressed with our visit. The waiting room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the childrens room we went into had an adorable farm theme. Plenty of toys to occupy my 2 year old while my 8 year old was being seen. VERY impressed that the prescription they put in for her was ready for pickup at our nearby pharmacy before we even left the exam room. Will definitely come here again if we ever have to.
Ashley Wilhelm a month agoI’ve gone here for a very long time and I just tried taking my son here with him running an extremely high fever his whole body hurts I barely got him to come here all for the receptionist to tell us they can’t see him bc I didn’t have a 90 copay, I’ve always been billed the copay, I don’t get paid until next week, but after leaving there my son refuses to go anywhere else so now all I can do is hope he gets better or changes his mind 💔💔💔 so disappointed and ill never be back
