KF1527 a month agoDoctors took an oath to do no harm. Dr. Ruth Hoskins has tremendously failed that oath. To sit there and tell a long time patient you won’t refill their inhaler prescription until they pay you $75 when they just did that 5 months ago is beyond ridiculous. First it was “you need to go in office once a year for me to renew” to “once every six months” now despite just seeing her 5 months ago, she won’t refill the prescription unless she is paid $75 every 4 months. Been an established patient with her for years before this but she wants to hold a prescription needed to breathe hostage for $75, then fine it’s time to find another doctor. I’ve already talked with other doctors about this incident, they are all surprised and appalled a doctor would treat a patient this way. This prescription is necessary to live. What she is doing is causing harm to her patients. Response to the owner: I respectfully reject your response. No where in my review did I state the patient had an issue with in-person visits. The issue is the multiple sudden changes in expected visits per year without communicating with patients especially for a simple albuterol prescription. An established patient that has been seeing her for several years. She also stopped asking for in-office visit and she was saying she’d be willing to refill it right away if we sent a $75 payment over the phone. That was clearly all about money, not evaluating or treating the patient. Should I add she also took several days to get back to the pharmacy about the prescription refill and then proceeded to pull this money grab stunt all while the patient is struggling to breathe while talking on the phone with her.

Mauro Arias 2 years agoVisited this urgent care for a strep throat. The visit was actually not bad, it was quick and easy, nothing that would make me say I’d love to come back to this place but also not terrible, so no complaints there. However, when I received the bill for my visit, I paid it within two weeks through my insurance’s website which sent a check to their main office in Phoenix. I continued to receive invoices though up until the point they’re about to send me to collections as stated on the invoice, even though I paid this months ago. I called the number on the invoice (their Phoenix office) and they confirmed they received the payment. When they transferred me to this location to confirm this payment twice, the girl on the phone with a condescending tone continued to state it would get escalated to her manager, I was never contacted. On the second phone call, she tells me her manager will take care of it but next time I needed to go into their office as if THEY ARE DOING ME A FAVOR for doing their job and not having better systems. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Reply to your comment below since I cannot reply directly: You guys really have some nerve with these responses. My insurance DID pay you guys, your other office in Phoenix confirmed it so it is YOUR fault you don’t have better systems. I have proof of the times I have called you, l have the receipts, and took screenshots for this specific reason 😊 so try again. And regardless of what this person said to me over the phone, it is her tone that made all the difference which was incredibly condescending. You really just made yourselves look worse with this response. Get some training on customer service and do better! Shame on you for not taking any accountability!
