The PAC I saw loudly said after leaving the exam room where I made a request for a COVID and Flu test that I was “stupid” and that I was “being difficult” by requesting these basic standards of care. My strep test came back negative so those tests seemed like plausible next steps. She said she was “happy to take my money” but they’re a “waste of time” and that she does not prescribe antivirals due to personal preference (she said even if I tested positive for the flu she would not prescribe tamiflu even if requested). She prescribed me a broad spectrum antibiotic (which is bizarre with a negative strep test and no culture) and sent me on my way. She was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Sylvia Shafer ensured I will never return to this practice.

It was one of the best Urgent Care experiences that I ever had. The PA, Steve, and his assistants were wonderful exhibiting much kindness and compassion. I will highly recommend this Urgent Care to family and friends.

The visit was fine , didn’t have to wait too long. The only problem was that I was never told what I had. The porthole didn’t not let me look at my test results and no one called to let me know This is an edit to my original review2 days later. I stilll don’t know what I have, I called and they won’t have lab results till Friday . 3 days . The Dr prescribed antibiotics for me. I’m not even sure that’s what I need. My energy level is crashing and I’m missing a lot of work. Looks like another place cutting corners for a bigger corporate bottom line if you ask me. Im really tired of hidden incompetence with big business in America all for a buck.

I made an appointment for 8 AM, when NexCare Urgent Care opened. I went to the one on Park and 6th Street in Tucson, where I was attended to in 5 minutes. This facility has an x-ray machine, which I needed for my wrist. The results came back within 10 minutes. I received a copy of my discharge instructions, a referral for further examination of my wrist, a CD of the x-ray pictures, an information sheet about a walk-in clinic for people with acute orthopedic injuries, and a splint for my wrist. It was all very professional, thorough, and quick – words you don't always see together. I highly recommend this clinic.

Everybody was quality from the receptionist to the nurse practitioner. They were very helpful. Got me right in rockstar performance congratulations thank you very much. Definitely a community service that’s needed and needs to stay.
