My daughter had injured her hand during soccer practice late evening. Just about every urgent care around me was already closed. Thankfully ContinuEm was open. I was greeted by smiling friendly staff. They answered my dumb questions happily and without hesitation. We waited about 10 minutes before being brought back to an examination room by another staff member that was equally as nice. A few minutes later the nurse practitioner arrived, asked questions and examined the injury. Like everyone before, was very nice to us and was very attentive. She provided a few ideas of the extent of the injury then ordered an X-ray to determine next steps. The X-ray tech came to our room and took the x-rays. About 5-10 minutes later, the NP returned with a physician to discuss the injury and review treatment options. After the treatment, they provided information for a specialist to further examine the injury and provide additional treatment. They provided a disk with the X-ray images and a summary of everything they did during our visit. On the way out, the staff at the front desk thanked us for the visit. This is how I wish every urgent care facility would operate! Thank you ContinuEM Lakewood!

Great customer service, friendly staff, quality care, and caring staff. I came to the clinic because I had an ear infection that got progressively worst in a matter of days. The nurse and doctor were very caring, gentle and listened to my needs. I was able to get a prescription for medication and the whole process took about one hour. You can even book online via MyChart if you have the app. Will definitely use again for my medical needs.

The staff were all professionals & pleasant. The facility is clean. The Nurse Practitioner that saw me was good and listened to my health problem & concern. They have portable x-ray so things like chest x-ray can be done and results known before you leave which make it super convenient. You can also make an appointment to be seen but don’t expect to be seen very close to your appointment since it’s after all still an Urgent Care facility & they need to prioritize according to the seriousness of patients’ problems. I had an appointment and I had to wait an hour to be called in.

I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to file a complaint because I believe this place is very misleading. CE Urgent Care asked for my insurance card but never informed me that my Anthem PPO insurance was out of network. Their website makes it seem like Anthem is accepted, which is deceiving. In addition, the owner himself stated that they accept PPO insurance. Please look at the pictures I attached, which support this claim. If I had been informed that my insurance was out of network, I would have left and sought care elsewhere. Why would I choose to pay out of pocket when I have insurance coverage? I am now being charged thousands of dollars for treatment of a respiratory infection. This is costing me more than the birth of my daughter, which is unbelievable and unacceptable. Before visiting, contact your insurance company directly to verify coverage. Otherwise, you may end up being told you’re not covered and be forced to pay out of pocket. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. Patients deserve transparency regarding insurance coverage before receiving treatment. Be careful and do your research beforehand.

Every member of the staff from the front desk to the nurses and doctor were very friendly and helpful. They listened and asked questions to ensure they understood the concern. The wait was very short, less than five minutes with an appointment. I will definitely return in the future! I highly recommend this urgent care.
