Intensive Care Unit: Sutter General Hospital

Last year I was admitted for severe sepsis. I was hours way from dieing. The doctors and awesome nurses saved my life and one year later I am writing this review. Enough said. Thank you for your great care.

This place has the BEST CARING team on earth. I wish I were there under better circumstances but obviously ICU is not the place you want to be. They made my stay so easy and attended to all my needs with total compassion. I want to thank every single person who was a part of my stay there. Please continue doing what you’re doing. You are making a difference.

The ER was great! Since switching from Kaiser due to poor care. Sutter follow up has not been much better. Broken knee cap, almost 2 weeks, not seen an ortho. Their system sucks too!

My son had some complications post surgery and had to be taken to ICU. I can’t thank the ICU staff enough and truly appreciate their support, care and help throughout one of the hardest time for our family and on behalf of my son. The Sutter ICU staff: absolutely amazing RN’s John with the BJJ skills, keep fighting and get that old man strength, in due time. I’m truly blessed that you found your calling as a nurse. Dimitri from Ohio, being a father and understanding meant a lot, extremely patient and keeping things light, RT Steve, absolutely kind and caring, Dayton like the rims…and countless other staff that saved my son. This post is no where close enough to truly express my gratitude. Thank you for your kindness and skills. From the bottom of my heart, I can never be more grateful for my God placing you in my son’s life. I hope that you all read this because I will try to express it upon discharge tomorrow…but I honestly don’t know if I could convey the words without breaking down. For all your hard and difficult shifts, thankless moments be sure to know that you all are incredible people and professionals. My son was already going to school to be a RN and I can only hope that he carries on the same care and compassion with those he comes across in his life as you did for my family.

After a severe car accident in June, I received the very best care at Sutter's ICU department. Very informative, caring and friendly people in the most frightening time of my life.
