Outstanding Care and Coordination! this clinic and Dr. Wais Tarrar highly enough. From start to finish, my experience was phenomenal. The administrative staff went above and beyond to help me identify my insurance partner and coordinated with the urgent care team to send over all the necessary information for clarification. They handled the paperwork beautifully, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. When it came to my medical care, Dr. Wais Tarrar was excellent. He conducted a thorough examination, listened carefully to my concerns, and prescribed the right inhalers for my asthma. It has been a week since my visit, and I am feeling incredibly stable and good. Thank you to the entire team for your efficiency, professionalism, and wonderful patient care!

Dr. Tarrar is an excellent physician who provided amazing care for me today. His front desk assistant Calea came out to my car to check on me and notified him that I needed assistance with wheelchair access because of my medical condition and mobility issues. Dr. Tarrar patiently listened to my issues and gave me the treatment necessary for my condition and also provided me with outpatient advice so that I can continue to be healthy. His assistants are very friendly and kind. I pray that I won’t have to return but if necessary this is the best facility to go to! Thank you all for your kindness and caring spirit for your patients!

Best Urgent Care facility and the only one I take myself and the kids too. Clean site and always have good reading materials+music in the waiting room too! The waits can be a while depending on when you come but I mean, it's better than any ER wait time. We're talking walmart vs target vibes - and this is target. Chill, calm, great customer/client experience. Doctors are always focused on patient advocacy and their referrals have gotten some major health issues addressed by my PCP and my daughter's, which would otherwise have been delayed by insurance/PCP. So grateful for the staff, nurses and doctors at MD! And as an added bonus there's a bad bakers next door so you can always get a tasty treat after fixing the kids boo boos!

Exceptional, Life-Saving Care — A Physician Who Truly Stands for His Community Today was one of the most frightening days of my life. While on a routine trip to Costco, my daughter suddenly experienced a severe asthma attack. Within seconds, she began wheezing and struggling to breathe. I was nearly 20 minutes from the nearest hospital, traffic was heavy, and I only had the wrong inhaler with me. I feared I would not make it in time. In desperation, I searched for the nearest urgent care. Every location was closed — except one: MD Urgent Care on Expo, directly across from Costco. That proximity was nothing short of providential. The moment we walked through the door, the doctor immediately recognized the urgency of the situation. He came straight to us, personally escorted my daughter into a treatment room, and began care without hesitation. His assessment was immediate and precise. Even as I struggled to speak through tears and fear, he listened attentively — never once asking me to repeat myself. His calm, confident presence steadied the entire room. He cradled my daughter with genuine concern and said words I will never forget: “Your baby girl isn’t breathing well on her own. May I have your permission to treat her?” That level of professionalism, respect, and compassion moved me deeply. I knew in that moment we were exactly where we needed to be. He acted decisively and skillfully. In less than an hour, my daughter was breathing comfortably again — back to herself. Not only did he stabilize her, but he ensured we left fully prepared: nearly two weeks of medication and the breathing machine we had been waiting weeks to receive through Medi-Cal. He made certain we did not walk out unprotected or unprepared. This was not just urgent care. This was integrity. This was leadership. This was a physician who understands the oath he took. Many people would have been focused on closing time or paperwork. Instead, this doctor focused solely on saving a child’s life. Without his intervention, I truly do not believe we would have made it to the hospital in time. This is what an MD looks like. This is what our community deserves. To this doctor and his staff: thank you. Your composure, expertise, and humanity will never be forgotten. I sincerely hope your dedication is recognized at the highest level.
