The staff at the front were calm and organized even though it was busy. Doctor was straightforward and explained everything clearly. Good experience for an urgent care visit.

Wouldn’t recommend for primary care - my new patient intake appointment did not include taking any vitals or offering and blood work testing. I could have been OK with this if I felt that the appointment was used to develop a relationship with my primary care provider to better help understand my needs and create a long term health plan. Instead, the appointment felt rushed and that the staff was eager to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I was billed around $150 for this

When I chose Carbon Health for my Primary Care, I did it for convenience, given its location across from my apt building in San Francisco. However, I've really come to appreciate the exemplary quality of medical care I've received for the past year from terrific clinicians, assisted by very well trained, customer service-oriented staff. The office is always available for any urgent issues, and I can easily schedule with my PCP for checkups online or by phone. I can't say enough about the doctors I've seen; their dedication, generosity of time and empathy, as well as their clinical skills, are provided each time I visit the clinic. I spent close to 30 years in healthcare, starting from medical assistant positions to senior hospital administrator on both the East and West Coasts. My years of experience tells me that the quality of care provided by Carbon Health is excellent, and in many ways far surpasses the old and long held PCP clinic systems in major medical centers, i.e., UCSF, New York Columbia Healthcare system, and others, whose traditional setup of clinics is more often confusing, crowded and requires long waits for patients. In addition, the utilization of interns and residents often doesn't allow for continuity of care with one PCP, which causes numerous issues. I would recommend (and have recommended) Carbon Health to anyone, including family and friends, who are seeking a Primary Care Physician who will be your health advocate in every way! If you’re going to read one review about this practice today, make it this one. They are extremely disorganized, cancel appointments at the last minute constantly, don’t honor their times, give you the runaround, and then wait times are several, several hours. Then they come in and spend about 5 minutes, forget to submit to insurance, and leave you with a huge bill. Disorganized, impatient, low quality. Skip! There are a million better practices around them.

Today I had a terrible vertigo episode and was not feeling well. From the moment I stepped in, the receptionist was so so kind and professional! I got seen very quickly and the medical assistant was so compassionate and accommodating. Julia was great at explaining what was happening and prescribing treatment! I have been to many urgent cares and I can confidently say this was my best experience with one and I would highly recommend you come here for your treatment!
