My experience here was good. I came in for a work physical. It being set up by my future employer there were no transactions necessary. That went smooth. It was the wait time that I was not happy with. It felt like because of the status of my visit as a non paying customer I was treated without urgency. I understand if people were there for more serious issues they should always come first. But there was tons of staff that could have helped move the process along for me.without jeopardizing services to others. Last thing is staff all seemed unhappy and the customer service aspect of my visit left something to be desired. Just an overall lack of enthusiasm and kindness. With a splash of unprofessionalism. Overall my experience was good but I would not go to this place if I needed urgent care. It was not up to standards that I expect from a medical facility. I.e. cleanliness and current state of facility.

I was very surprised with how professional the folks were at Concentra. I have used a few different facilities around the SF Bay Area -- they were all a severe disappointment. Concentra could be used as the standard for testing facilities.... the people are professional, the facility is spotless, and their equipment is top-notch.

It's a very clean office and all the desk folks were very clear about the processes that would take place. Primarily folks of color if that's important to you for a healthcare facility. The person who helped me, I believe Daniel Chan, not sure their title Nurse or Doctor. They communicated short, passive aggressively, and very clearly already impatient with the interaction. They asked "What can I do for you today?", I explained why I was there, a health concern happening the evening before, and they sat seemingly impatient for me to finish. After I finished my reason for being there, they responded in a condescending tone, "... soo what can I do for you..? I don't have X-Ray vision I obviously can't see what's going on in your body. You're not feeing any major symptoms right now, correct? Well there's not much I can do for you. Your best bet is to take some tums and if it get's worse go see your PC." Daniel proceeded to express what a next step process would look like if they had the tools or expertise for the medical help I was seeking. Leaving out private health concerns details, that was the gist of the tone and information of my experience from Daniel Chan. I remained nuetral, polite, and listened otherwise. I confirmed if the facility Concentra had any resources for recommending a reference or a specialist for my concern and Daniel stated "No. Talk with your PC." It was genuienly a comical experience if not confusing and frustrating. There was no care, and a reminder that there are genuienly "health care providers" out there getting there bag. I talked to Daniel for all of 5 mins. I did my best to get informed on what kind of services Concentra offered in relation to my concerns, and hoped for a referal at the least. Hopefully Daniel has a humbling moment to remind themselves of why they chose to be in the field, so when they know they don't have the knowlegdge or resources to help someone they'd take a moment to see who else can help someone in need with genuine care.

It happened on April Fools’ Day — but the bill wasn’t a joke. I walked into Concentra SF uninsured and was told that if I couldn’t afford care I should go to the emergency room — not a sliding-scale clinic or public option. Then I got charged $390. I wasn’t helped — I was processed. When I pushed back, they quietly adjusted $140 with no explanation, and I still got ghosted trying to resolve it. No guidance. No transparency. No accountability. If you’re uninsured, don’t go here unless you want to pay a premium for being vulnerable.

I had a very unprofessional experience at this clinic. The physical therapist, Noman, and the physical therapy receptionist, Christina, were condescending and mocked me openly when I asked about my schedule. Beyond the lack of respect, the care is poor. Noman’s sessions are extremely short (one was under 10 minutes), and he used dishonest tactics to pressure me into booking more appointments, claiming my insurance would "get suspicious" if I didn’t. I do not recommend their physical therapy for professional or honest care.
