Visited here after a fall and they were very fast. Checked me out and sent me on my way. Everyone was super friendly, listened to me, and I received the treatment I requested without protest. Will definitely be coming back if I need them in the future

Last month I had a very concerning experience at this facility when I came in for several days of heavy bleeding and severe uterine pain that felt similar to intense contractions. I clearly described the severity of my symptoms and asked whether imaging, such as an ultrasound, was needed. When I raised this, the response I received felt dismissive, as though my concern was being minimized rather than considered as part of my care. When the ultrasound was eventually performed, I was told to wait for the physician for results without any interim explanation, which left me without clarity during a very stressful situation. When Dr. Claire Maxwell San Gunn returned, I was informed that my IUD had become displaced and was sitting in my cervix. I was told it needed to be removed for the pain and bleeding to stop. However, only a brief attempt was made to locate and remove it before I was told I would need to follow up elsewhere because this was not her area of expertise. Given the severity and urgency of my symptoms, this felt inadequate. I ultimately had to go to the restroom and remove the IUD myself, which was already partially expelled. Based on the limited attempt to treat the issue and the response when I advocated for myself, I did not feel I received competent or complete care during a time-sensitive and physically painful situation. I do want to note that I was seen quickly upon arrival, which I appreciated. However, timely intake does not make up for dismissive communication and lack of appropriate treatment once the issue was identified. I hope this feedback leads to improved responsiveness, communication, and completeness of care for future patients.

Doctors and nurse were very rude and obviously didn't care about me at all. The only nice person here is the X-ray tech. He actually treated me like a person. The virtual assistant for insurance took an hour... and we STILL got a huge bill. It is impossible to contact them about this. What is the point of sitting there giving you my insurance information if you're still going to charge me and not use it?? The doctor very obviously didn't want to be there and made me feel like a burden. He was very dismissive. The nurse literally interrupted me after asking me about my medication when the doctor came in and walked away before I could even finish. They didn't even do very basic medical care here. HORRIBLE bedside manner. I would never come back here, even if it was my only option because I obviously will get treated horribly and not even get medical care. This place is a walking malpractice lawsuit in the making. The surprise billing should be illegal. If I had money I would contact an attorney. Btw I am still in pain after weeks since coming here and there is obviously something wrong with my foot but they didn't care at all. I can't remember the nurses name (or what she looked like since she was literally there for a couple minutes) but the doctor was tall and had short brown/black hair. If you see him ask for another doctor.

The moment we got called back from the MA, Michelle was horrible. She was unprofessional, lacked compassion, rude and disrespectful. Our visit made us very uncomfortable from when we got there to when we left. Thankfully some humanity was left when we met Travis, Isaiah and the charge nurse (3/19/26 @8pm) as for Michelle she yanked and pulled my husbands IV’s as if she did it on purpose. When she called my husband she didn’t even greet us but instead complained that “its already busy” I had to ask for her name and her asking questions were as if she was speaking to a child. Her demeanor was unprofessional. We as patients should’ve been greeted with more respect than she gave us! As someone who works in healthcare this was not right one bit. She even left the room to “get more paperwork that we needed” and left our papers on the charger nurses desk without even giving it to us, she seemed to of lack sympathy. Absolutely horrible! Do better HCA HealthONE Belmar ER with whom you hire and have to treat your patients!

I went in for the first time to the Belmar ER. Every provider I interacted with was kind and helpful. They truly listened to me about how long I've been experiencing symptoms and what had worsened. They helped me get to the bottom of it so I can get the care I need with ENT. Thank you! It's been a long season of sickness and interacting with this kind of empathy and care was very encouraging.
