I had the best experience with this urgent care. I was so scared to make the call fiscally and was immediately calmed by Taisa. The rest of the staff was just as kind, humorous, and helpful reassuring me that I and my cat would be fine, giving me tips on how best and when to take the meds, and made sure I wasn’t fearful about returning to my old habits when I left. I am so grateful for such a compassionate and thoughtful crew! Healing and happy :) even got heart bandaids, which was such a fun surprise!

Another update: Had another bad experience dealing with whoever they have on the phones. I tried to make an appointment for my husband to get trigger point injections and was told that "I can't tell you when the doctor who does that will be in, you have to call on the day and see if he's here." It was so bizarre. Update: They called and explained they were mistaken; there are stronger muscle relaxants they can use, and we can schedule trigger point injections if they don't work. I do appreciate the fast response to a bad review - that was very quick. Yeah ok, so edited to add: the pain meds didn't work, he was still unable to sleep through the night, and when we followed up, they said they couldn't prescribe anything stronger than 2mg Tirzanidine, and suggested we go to the emergency room instead. I'm honestly appalled. When we went for a visit last week (see below), we talked with the NP Heather about his treatment options, including several available escalations they could do if he needed it (e.g., trigger point injections, steroids). But now, for no reason, they have refused any further help, and unless I'm misunderstanding, attempted to shame my husband for seeking treatment?! So: scratch that, they don't treat people well at this center. They are disgusting. My previous review: I had such a great experience here. The EMT who did the intake just had great reassuring bedside manner - thanks Elijah! - and the NP who helped my husband with his shoulder pain was also great and communicated really clearly what he needed to do and avoid doing to help it heal - thanks Heather! We felt so much calmer within 5 minutes of being seen.

If I could give this place a 10, I’d! I want to cry from how grateful I am for the care I received here. From the reception ladies to the nurse Elijah and doctor Andrea — everyone was kind, respectful, and understanding. They helped me with a very sensitive issue and made me feel safe and cared for. The process was so easy — I booked online, had no wait, and was in and out in about an hour. I’m self-paid, so pricing transparency is fantastic, and they even have a pharmacy on site so got my prescription there as well. Thank you to the entire team for treating me with such compassion and professionalism. I’ll never forget how well I was cared for. 💛

I made an appointment in advance via the UC Health app and was updated about when to come. This was helpful because I was in pain and could stay at home until I needed to leave. There is plenty of parking. The staff were all kind and caring. The medical staff were knowledgeable.

Lisa Boykin, PA is an awful provider. Do not expect compassion or any comprehensive medical decision making based on how your medical condition or medical history impacts your ability to take certain medications. When Lisa was informed of potential negative outcomes from taking the medication she suggested she had no alternatives although there are alternatives. She needed me to tell her how to consider other options and left the room in a rush to go look them up. When asked for a simple bag of fluids for some hydration she sent a tech to do an orthostatic test that was done incorrectly and she denied fluids because it was “normal”. We left since we had zero confidence that she knew what she was doing. She gave no diagnosis, no discharge paperwork, and no follow up instructions. Substandard care start to finish. These urgent cares are staffed with providers who are under trained and ill equipped to provide critical thinking. They stick a warm body in there just to keep the doors open and keep making money. As soon as anything outside of cough and cold comes in they punt you to the ER where the real providers are. Don’t waste your time and money with this clown show.
