Sunday: I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner named “Ben” and it appeared as though he was either uncomfortable doing his job or that he didn’t know what to do. His demeanor when checking my ear was as if he got close to me at all, he would die. I was seen for a swollen lymph node and body aches that came on suddenly. Long story short, no labs were done, he didn’t check anything, assumed I had some infection and gave me antibiotics. Monday: I spiked a high fever and went to my primary care doctor and had labs run and turns out I have mono. I was told to STOP the antibiotics as they can mix badly with the virus and give sever rashes.. I think the story speaks for itself that the little clinic isn’t as competent as I once thought.

The nurse Jennifer Surrell did not listen or understand what my symptoms were. I advised of a history of sinusitis. She apparently does not have an understanding of this illness. She chose to treat for an allergy that I did not have. Please use caution in going to this clinic. You will not receive adequate treatment.

I went in because I’m having trouble breathing at night while I sleep and my boyfriend had noticed it had seemed like I had stopped breathing. The provider referred me to sleeptopia and told me to call them the next day. Called sleeptopia and they said they only make appointments by doctor referrals and that the provider should already have paperwork to fax to them..okay so I called the clinic the next Tuesday I knew the same provider was in and the receptionist said she would get with the provider and call me back. Never got a call back. Called again later in the week and the receptionist said she would check to see if they had paperwork to fax to them and call me back, still never got a call back. Now I called today 09/29/21 and no one will answer. I just want to be able to breathe when I’m sleeping and find out if sleep apnea may be the cause.. can’t get in to my PCP until November and I didn’t want to have to wait that long just for a referral..

Jennifer A. Wilson - “nurse partitioner” came in with an attitude from the start. Looked at my issue, then sat at her laptop for 5 minutes in complete silence. She clearly was trying to google the issue. She tried saying it could be 2-3 other possibilities to begin with. Then, proceeds to leave the room for another 5 minutes. Comes back in with another cause of the issue. Don’t go here they’ll try to treat you for something without even knowing if that’s what it is! Also, stutter when you call them out for trying to treat you without knowing the true issue. Instead of coming up with things, tell your patients you’re unsure. Don’t even waste your time here, go to the ER or primary doctor. EDIT: Went to the doctors today (day after i was here at the little clinic) they looked at me and instantly knew I had a bacterial infection. Bacterial infections are highly contagious AND can be fatal. Do not go to this little clinic.

I scheduled an appointment online when I showed up for my scheduled time they told me they couldn’t see me at that time because they had walk-in patients show up before me even though I scheduled an appointment they prioritized the walk-in patients before me! There solution was for me to come back after there scheduled lunch time because that’s when they could see me right away either that or I could sit and wait in the line of walk in patients. So in my opinion your much better just walking in because they don’t care about scheduled appointment times. Very unprofessional!!! They could have at least called before I arrived to tell me the situation. Now I’m stuck canceling my other plans I had due to this inconvenience!!!
