I made an appointment at the Little Clinic because I'm visiting my sister from out of state, and my primary care provider is not licensed to do telehealth in KS. I have recurring sinus infections (3 - 4/year), and I am currently in the middle of one right now. I had a very bad experience at this Little Clinic location when I went in to try to get medicine for my sinus infection. First, the nurse who took my vital signs was very pleasant, and I had no issues with her. However, I cannot say the same for the nurse practitioner, Marsha Waters, that I spoke with after the initial triage nurse. I have seen many doctors over the years, and the provider at this clinic had one of the worst attitudes I have seen from a health care provider in a very long time. It started when the practitioner complained to the nurse about how she was running behind. I understand that a location like this can be a challenging place to work, but the NP did not listen to me at all. Sinus infections are a recurring condition for me, and I know the signs and symptoms as they present for me. Given that I have these regularly, I also know that without antibiotic treatment, they usually develop into a nasty case of bronchitis that can last weeks. Instead of listening to me, Marsha informed me that I should be using a sinus rinse and to continue my flonase usage. Shortly after I left, I found another provider in the area who accepted my insurance, and confirmed that I did indeed have a sinus infection and should be treated with antibiotics. Unless they hire more staff, or replace the current practitioner, I would not recommend going to this clinic for anything that requires something more than a quick diagnostic visit (e.g. strep test, flu test, covid test).

My husband and I visited The Little Clinic today. The first Nurse was very pleasant, took our information, got us checked in and then met us in the room for vitals. Then the Nurse Practitioner Marsha came into the room. She didn't greet us or introduce herself, instead came in wheeling a computer on a cart complaining about her hip and how fast she needed to get off it. Then sd she had to finish up something before talking to us and typed on her laptop. We tried to make small talk and she told us she couldn't wait to retire from healthcare and get out of it, then gave us her exact time left to work in months and days. We didn't know what to say. We told her our symptoms and she checked both of us then sd "everthing looks good". My husband's ear pain just needs to be treated with OTC Claritin or Flonase nasal spray and we both should use a Neti Pot sinus rinse!! While she was checking me, she just complained about her husband and did not discuss my care. My husband sd antibiotics are usually prescribed to treat sinus infections and she replied "well antibiotics are overused". We immediately walked out thinking we just had the most horrible health care visit ever and our health concerns were not addressed. We left and my husband sd his ear really hurts so we went to a hospital minor care center where we should have gone to begin with. He saw an MD who checked him out and the Dr sd his ear was very red, inflamed and will not clear up without an antibiotic. They also prescribed cough syrup with codeine to alleviate the nighttime cough to get rest. I'm very dissatisfied with the very poor care we received and will never go to The Little Clinic again. .

I told the young lady working the counter that I needed a tetanus booster. She asked me if I had been injured? I replied no. She said that they probably wouldn't give me one. It si my understanding that vaccines are preventative, not given after the fact unless you are behind.

The doctor I saw had a horrible aditude, didn't greet me and didn't talk to me about what she was doing at all. I understand phisicals are probably boring to do all day but the aditude she has during the exam was awful. The front desk lady was super nice and helpful.

I wish I read the reviews before going. My experience was nothing more than most of the other comments unfortunately. Started off when I got in the room the nurse asked me to sit on the bed and she would get my vitals and I saw as I sat down another lady in the room sitting on her computer. I was assuming it was someone observing and the Dr would come in after vitals. After my vitals I sat in the room alone with this lady I had no idea who she was because she didn’t introduce herself. Then she starts to ask me questions about my problem of why I came in and that’s when I realized SHE was the one seeing me. I had no idea who the lady’s name was nor was she showing that she had any care to explain anyway. I didn’t find out her name or that she was a nurse practitioner until I read the reviews!! I was asked very vague questions that I had already answered in my pre check in. Other than that, the only other questions were “how long has this been happening?” and “is it itchy?” Before looking at my rash I asked how she would like me to sit or stand for her to see it and she goes “well it’s whatever, no need to take everything off I just need to see the rash” Like that’s not what I asked but okay. She looked at my rash said “hm” and sat back down on her chair and then said she was giving me a cream and something else and that was it. Appt done. Took a total of like 15 minutes. And most of it was vitals and sitting in silence. She didn’t even tell me what she may have thought it was she just said “looks like yeast but it’s not moist.” LIKE I KNOW THAT. It’s my leg. I left with no answers, not a better understanding of what was happening, and irritated.
