I made an online appointment for an employment drug screen and still ended up waiting over 1.5 hours past my scheduled appointment time for something that took 5 minutes. I initially tried to be understanding because this is an urgent care facility, but after an hour of waiting with no communication, the situation became completely unacceptable. What made this even more frustrating was that walk-in patients appeared to be accepted without any regard for scheduled appointments. If appointments are essentially meaningless, then patients should be informed of that upfront instead of being given a false expectation of a reserved time slot. At check-in, staff could have easily informed me that they were running significantly behind or offered the option to reschedule. Instead, I was checked in without any warning whatsoever. When I later asked how much longer the wait would be, nobody could even provide an estimate. I was eventually told there was only one person available to perform the testing. If the facility lacks adequate staffing to honor appointment times, then appointments for these services should not be offered in the first place. Patients rearrange work schedules and personal obligations based on those appointment times, and waiting nearly two hours defeats the entire purpose of scheduling ahead. Had I known this was effectively a walk-in-only process with unpredictable wait times, I would have planned accordingly. Unfortunately, my employer only provided Xpress Wellness as an option. Otherwise, I would absolutely choose a facility like Labcorp, where appointment times and patient schedules are treated with more professionalism and respect.

I recently went to Xpress Wellness in Wichita for a physical, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was professional, respectful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Check-in was quick, and I didn’t have to wait long before being seen. The provider who handled my physical was thorough, explained everything clearly, and made sure all my paperwork was completed correctly. I really appreciated how efficient and organized the visit was, especially since medical visits can sometimes take forever. Overall, I would definitely recommend Xpress Wellness to anyone needing a physical or urgent care visit. Great service, friendly staff, and a clean, professional environment. I’ll be going back if I need care in the future.

I've been here a handful of times and each time they've been consistently late. 1-2 patients in the back with multiple rooms. I arrive to my appts early to make sure everything goes smoothly with check-in. 30+ minutes behind every single time. Extremely irritating.

We were quickly seen. The nurse and PA were fantastic with my daughter. The PA was very patient with answering all my questions and went above and beyond to make us all feel more comfortable with the situation. My 3 year old even asked for “that doctor” to see her from now on.

I went in due to a near disabling neck stain. I was unable to torn my head or bend over without painful spasms. The office was very clean and nicely decorated. The check-in was easy. P.A. Daniel was very knowledgeable and empathetic. I was given an injection for pain and a prescription for later as well as information to promote my recovery. Very nice experience and I feel so much better today!
