KU medical center is useless for people who need to see a primary care physician, they set up appointments then cancel appointments and push the appointment out 6 more months. This location is not accessible for anyone, I spent an hour walking around t mobile center and not one door was open there is no one to assist with finding this place. KU med is a danger to our community.

I was abruptly dismissed from Dr. Ebersole’s care after simply asking questions about my medications and inquiring about getting a primary care doctor. As a Black woman managing serious health concerns, this was not only distressing but felt discriminatory. Dr. Ebersole showed a lack of bedside manner and empathy throughout my care. Instead of supporting patient engagement, she seemed uncomfortable with my efforts to advocate for myself. I was "fired" without warning, referral, or explanation—leaving me medically vulnerable. I would not recommend this clinic, especially to women of color seeking respectful, compassionate care.

Their practice in general may be fine, but the absolute insensitivity and incompetence of Dr. Ebersole completely negates the hard work of the other staff there. I went with my friend for an appointment with Dr. Ebersole, as she has extreme medical trauma, and wanted support. The front desk attendant, medical assistant, and nurse we are perfectly lovely and professional. But when Dr. Ebersole entered the room, that all changed. My friend suffers from an eating disorder, brought on by weight gain from medication. So, when talking about psychiatric medication, Dr. Ebersole repeatedly used incredibly insensitive language, insisting “this medication won’t make you fat” “you don’t want a medication that’ll make you fat” “if I had a pill that would make people skinny, now that would be great”. Furthermore, when told that my friend is not interested in having children (as a fully grown, nearly 27 year old woman, may I add), Dr. Ebersole told her that “you’ll change your mind” “giving birth isn’t all that hard” “we can just knock you out and take out the baby”. She also informed Dr. Ebersole about a psychiatric diagnosis, to which Ebersole interrupted her, saying “nooooooo. Nope. You don’t have that. No.” Last I checked this woman is not a psychiatrist. On top of everything, Dr. Ebersole’s bedside manner was absolutely atrocious. She was abrasive, rude, and invasive. At one point, she pulled down my friend’s top without any warning, much less asking for consent. To top it all off, after this awful experience, Dr. Ebersole charged my friend for two clinical visits, just because she was prescribed medication and consulted for a persistent issue she has. No testing, no labs, nothing. Simply a consult, and she was charged double for it. Stay away from this doctor at all costs. Not only is she practicing dishonest billing practices, but she is not helpful whatsoever, and even harmful to her patients.

My go-to for urgent care. The staff is so friendly and kind. I also have always been in and out of the office very quickly.

Everyone was friendly, I was seen quickly, and Dr. We're listened intently to my concerns and helped me find the right ways to address them!
