Rockbrook Urgent Care

Today I had to take my 2 year old to the “Urgent Care Omaha” location at Rockbrook. The building was nothing to scream about from the outside, and the lines in the parking lot definitely needed repainted, but I appreciated plenty of parking spots available and that I was able to park right by the door. The waiting room was nice and open. They even had a couple of couches, which I was grateful for so my daughter could lay next to me while I filled out the paperwork. Bonus - my copay was only $25! Which is what we pay when we go to our pediatrician. I was expecting it to be a lot more at an Urgent Care, especially since it’s a Saturday. Then there was no one waiting before us, so we got right in to see the doctor! The nurse was super sweet and friendly with my daughter. She was very gentle and took her time when she could tell my daughter I was a little apprehensive of being in a new space. The exam room was clean and had children’s books and magazines. My daughter appreciated being able to read while we waited on the doctor, which was not a long wait at all. Five minutes at most, and that could’ve just been because they were waiting on a culture. The doctor was very patient and kind. She offered stickers and a sucker to my daughter, which she enjoyed. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. Urgent Care Omaha @ Rockbrook is a hidden gem! We were in and out in under and hour! I’m so grateful! Disclaimer - I did get a free mug for writing a 5 star review, but I wouldn’t have wrote the review with such a high rating if I didn’t think they deserved it! I am a review reader myself, and appreciate an honest review!!

Amazing staff. They really focus on quality care and treat you like family. I didn’t get the names of the ladies who took care of me last night but I will say they are some of the best healthcare professionals in the business. Thank you so much!

Dr. Felicia was sure I had cellulitis on my nose. Her nurse suggested shingles but that was ignored. I went back 7 days later after more pain and no improvement with completing the full course of treatment. I had every symptom of shingles. Dr. Felicia still said cellulitis. She did take a culture at this time. However, that should have been done the first time because shingles was a possibility. After the results came back, it was determined to be shingles. It was located on my nose which I learned to be very dangerous. I was then told that I needed to go in for an emergency eye exam because this can cause blindness and even facial paralysis. Not something anyone wants to mess around with. I was not at all happy or satisfied with the knowledge and treatment I received from Dr. Felicia at this urgent care location.

My son was injured during a soccer game and we needed care ASAP. We stopped into Rockbrook Urgent Care after trying three other places (one was closed, other didn't take our insurance). Within a few minutes of finishing our paperwork, we were called back. The intake process was super fast and Felisha was our provider. She was very kind and great to work with! My son had an x-ray on his foot and Felisha took the time to answer his questions about the bones in his foot and was very patient with him. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return the next time we need urgent care.

Staff was friendly and got me into see the doctor fairly quick. Dr. was very knowledgeable and genuine and didn’t just rush me in and out. She made me feel like she cared. I will definitely go back.
