I'm really miserable already and called ahead after speaking to my Pulmonologist to schedule and appt @Belcourt (walk in clinic). I am under Vanderbilt care for serious underlying illness that is not contagious. At checkin she asked for some information which I retrieved from my phone. She asked to hold my phone, fine. At this point she has seen my diagnosis and knows my medical history and knows I am not contagious. She still as I am still sitting in front of her jumps up and begins to sanitize her hands and put on a mask while still asking me routine questions. Then as I am seating myself in the waiting room she comes around the PARTITION, and starts wiping down the seat and area I was in. There's other patients waiting to be seen, that seemed lax when we entered but now are retrieving masks and fidgeting as they sanitize their hands. I totally get contagions and especially working in the Healthcare industry, you surely want to protect yourself and family. Even if a patient was a Covid suspect, there are ways to protect yourself and the clinic while maintaining at the least a tinge of professionalism. I have spent allot of time in the medical atmosphere as a patient and there are clear guidelines and procedures to follow that do not offend or single out a patient. Thanks for making an already terrible diagnosis worse #Lowstandards #whathappenedtoVanderbilt #noprofessionallism

I was seeing Dr. Jeffrey Dinizio last Wednesday for a running nose and cough. I met him and told him I thought I might have a strep throat and asking for a test. However, he was so sure that I’m not having one and got me test for flu and Covid. All tests came negative and I asked him for a strep throat test. After so many talks here and there, he finally agreed to send a culture order which would take 24-48 hours for the result. He was so sure that I was having an allergy, but I had a feeling that I was not because I told him it’s contagious. My husband was not feeling well this Friday and he went to a clinic in another location and was tested positive for strep throat. So I went for a test over there and came positive as well. And it only took me 10 mins waiting for the result. I took the antibiotics and I’m feeling so much better right now. I’m not blaming Dr. Dinizio here for being so stubborn. It’s just he is that kind of doctor who only follows the protocol. If you don’t have the symptoms you don’t get the test. Being a doctor, you should be open minded and see things from all the possibilities. The doctor I was seeing today said I might have a cold plus a strep at the same time. I don’t think it’s hard to think about it for being a doctor. BTW, the tall old white lady in the front desk was so RUDE! I mean she’s not only rude for patients, but also to other receptionist.

Horrible experience. My child was screaming and crying in pain from his ear. The LPN said his ears looked red and “angry,” but the doctor came in and told us they looked great. We were sent home, and by the next morning he was vomiting and still in significant pain. We took him to his primary care doctor, where he was diagnosed with an ear infection and a blister and finally received antibiotics. It was a very rough 24 hours for him. I’m extremely thankful his primary doctor took the time to properly assess and treat him.

Wow, worst experience of my life. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Beware the tall, white lady who was on shift Friday around 6pm. I had asked one question about the difference between a sprain and fracture, and she said “I can’t provide that information without a consultation.” I have never had a healthcare provider look down upon me like that. I felt like crying after I left. I’m almost convinced she is prejudiced against people of color the way she looked at me in disgust. One minute of your time and kindness won’t kill anybody. This has only reminded me to spread more kindness in the world and work harder in my studies so that that future healthcare providers will not act this way. Worst experience of my life, but insightful.

Horrible service. I was never informed that I had been checked in and didn’t receive any updates. Not only that but they didn’t have anymore masks out in the lobby or tissues. No one greeted me when I arrived or called me up to the desk after my check-in, so I assumed I just had to wait. I was told there were two patients ahead of me, but five people were called back before me. When I asked about it, the lady at the front desk seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. I was feeling extremely sick and ended up sitting there for an hour without any communication so I just left. Never coming back to this clinic.
