I had a great experience at the Montrose urgent care today. The registration tech, Gabrella, was very friendly and made the check-in process quick and easy. RN Wasef was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. Maewal took the time to listen and provided excellent care, and Pablo in radiology was also very helpful and welcoming. The whole staff was efficient, caring, and I was checked out quickly without feeling rushed. Definitely appreciate the great service from everyone today!

I had a very concerning experience here this week. One of the doctors I had (Dr Healing) was in his 90s wearing a rosary and handed me a large picture of Jesus along with a prayer card. He tried to convince me my intestinal infection was from pork even though I hadn’t eaten it in a while (and didn’t ask me any other food I’ve eaten that could have led to being severely sick). He told me he hasn’t eaten pork in decades and it felt like he was trying to use his personal opinion rather than medical opinion. Earlier that day I vomited 5 times, had very problematic bowel movements and had a 100.5 fever. Yet, it took 5 hours for any sort of medicine to be administered. I was at this ER for almost 7 hours. I was prescribed an antibiotic that has 7 FDA black box warnings (Cipro). I didn’t fill that prescription and went to my PCP via telehealth the very next day to get their opinion and have since been provided other medication. They were shocked at how I was treated at this ER and how long it took them to give me IV with medication and fluids. I’m not from Houston and came here on a work trip and didn’t know where to go. This place had amazing reviews so I’m shocked that I had a polar opposite experience in comparison to other reviewers. Maybe I just came in on a bad night. I’m concerned that Dr Healing is still practicing medicine and I believe he is a hazard to patients. He also yelled at the front desk lady to “do more” and she had to tell him multiple times that she is not a nurse and isn’t certified to provide medical care. I have never had such a bad medical experience like this in my life. I hope this doctor is not a regular staff person at this location for the safety of patients. In addition to Dr Healing, I didn’t feel heard or listened to by the other medical staff. Many concerns were brushed off and dismissed. I had such low energy that it was hard to advocate for myself. I was called “pretty” and an “easy patient” by another medical staff member. But in reality, I just couldn’t function or speak much from being alone in the exam room for hours.

We were assisted by Gaby at the front , she was very nice and gave us a room immediately. No waiting . Nurse Wasuf was attentive and courteous. My husband was seen by Dr.Maewal , he examined him and ordered a CT Scan which is done here , and gave him medicine for pain here as well. Highly recommend!

After slicing my finger tips off, I found the nearest emergency room and sped to the Montrose ER. The staff was extremely helpful and professional from check in all the way to the treatment room. Wasef, Bo, and Dr.Ambe made the ordeal extremely soothing for me and did such a great job I completely forgot I was missing pieces of my fingers. If there was ever a medical emergency these professionals would be my first choice to bring myself or a loved one. From the exceptional medical care provided to the pristine condition of the facility I recommend this facility to anyone in need. 15/10

Great service and detail. Our registered tech Gaby was awesome. Our nurse Wasuf was very detailed on his notes. Jaime the radiologist technician help with getting in and out of the chair to the table. Both Physician were very knowledgeable in diagnosis the issue that was occurring.
