I had a disappointing experience at Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care in Los Feliz. After being roomed, I waited for over an hour without seeing a provider or receiving any updates. The urgent care wasn’t busy at all, which made the lack of communication even more frustrating. I eventually spoke up and asked whether anyone was actually going to see me, but even after bringing it to their attention, no one came in to evaluate me. At that point, I seriously considered just walking out because I had already been waiting for over an hour with no explanation, so I went out and asked again. No patient should have to sit in an exam room for over an hour with no communication, no explanation, and no care—especially when they’re seeking medical attention. The lack of urgency, follow-through, and basic courtesy was incredibly disappointing.

Don’t bother reserving a time. Waited over 90 minutes for an x-ray I booked earlier in the day… was then told they’re behind because staff is at lunch—why let people reserve a time then? Had to leave before being seen cause I was in so much pain, and there was nowhere to elevate my leg—nor did the staff offer any solutions other than to reschedule. Poor communication and disastrous waste of time. Have had good experiences with Cedars otherwise, but never coming back here.

The facility is very nice and clean. I found Pat Parks, PA-C to be incredibly condescending and dismissive. We come to urgent care for help and both the intake nurse and PA acted like I was an inconvenience.

I came to this urgent care on 2/23 after experiencing a seizure the week prior and being evaluated in the ER. I scheduled the appointment because I wanted to follow up with a provider, ask questions about my recovery, and get peace of mind regarding my current condition and returning to work. Unfortunately, the nurse on duty was dismissive and rude. I was told, “We haven’t treated you, so we can’t clear you or give you an excuse for work,” without any effort to ask how I was feeling, what symptoms I was experiencing, or why I felt the need to be seen. My appointment was treated as pointless and nearly canceled, simply because my prior visit was documented in the Epic system. At no point did anyone show concern for my well-being or attempt to assess my current status. After going through a seizure, which is a frightening medical event, I expected at minimum to be heard and evaluated. Instead, I felt pushed out and dismissed. Patients seeking follow-up care and reassurance deserve compassion and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I will not be returning..

An outstanding facility that is clean, large and well organized. If you use the online appointment schedule process it will make your visit easy. I booked a time and was seen at my appointed time. The Dr was very helpful, addressed my needs and wrote a prescription I needed. This was my first time visiting and I was unsure about the parking so I parked in the Albertsons lot and walked down the street.
