I was there on 5/13/26. I don't know where the 1 and 2 star reviews came from, but I had an outstanding experience at Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care West Loop. When I arrived, the facility was very clean. No one was in the waiting area. Registration was easy. I booked my appointment online. So they verified who I was in there system, asked me for my ID and insurance card and were very kind, friendly and professional. I then went to the waiting area and it took all of 10 minutes for me to be called. I was seen by a medical assistant who took my vital signs. She was very kind and professional. No issues with interacting with her and Carl G, DO, the medical doctor. He was very friendly, thorough, kind and professional. He listened to my medical concerns and prescribed me the medication that I let him know works best for me and called in the prescription to the CVS across the street. I can't say enough great things about my entire experience here and highly recommend this particular Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care West Loop location.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was efficient, thorough and caring. This location has provided consistently great care and is in sync with my primary care at NWM. Highly recommended for any urgent care needs.

I was there with terrible flu like symptoms so already feeling vulnerable and weak, the front desk staff was great checking me in but when I was called back by the medical Assistant (jessie) he called me in, never introduced himself, let the door go on me which hit me on my shoulder, then when we got to the room he was irritated and aggressive slamming cabinet doors and had a terrible attitude. The room he brought me in had used table paper so I sat in the chair instead. He said he was going to do a swab to test for covid and flu and then he jabbed the swab so hard up my nose that my head went back and I hit my head with the corner of a metal picture frame they have hanging there. I asked to get someone else to do my swab and he didn't even bother to ask if I was ok even tho he saw me hit my head. I have pictures of the frame. He sent in a person whose name was Desi, I asked her for a manager and she said I am the manager, so I started complaining to her about what just happened, she brushed it off and said call patient relations. No incident report was filed, no apology. Then the provider walks in and I complained to her and she said we dont have a manager here at the moment, I told her Desi just said she was the manager, which she replied oh no she is not the manager. Unbelievable that NM would hire such unprofessional individuals. I called pt relations who coordinated a meeting with the actual manager. The manager just made excuses for their behavior and said that the MA didn't remember the interaction. So I guess it's ok to mistreat patients since the manager is just going to make excuses for them. I also have a picture of them not fully locking the computer which is a HIPAA violation. Still no incident report. Will not be returning there and will recommend people to go elsewhere

Was seen by the happiest staff, in & out under an hour. Everything was supper clean! I usually dread going to urgent cares, but this place was great!

Everyone was welcoming from the start. From the receptionist to the doctor. He was a good listener. Cleaned up my laceration While making sure I was not in pain.
