I am so grateful for this clinic. I was out of town, and experienced symptoms of a miscarriage. It was suggested I go to a local urgent care to confirm, and I was so apprehensive because of the typical stigmas around urgent care—long waits, impatient and unfriendly staff, etc However this clinic was phenomenal. I was very emotional, and the staff, from reception, to nurses, especially to Dr. Kaddoura were exceptionally empathetic, helpful, and overall so lovely in helping me get answers to something very traumatic. I’ll never forget it.

My experience with this UOC URGENT CARE DEARBORN LOCATION was amazing!! I made an appointment through My Chart, I was seen within a few minutes, the intake person was amazing, the MA was exceptional, kind, knowledgeable & concern, she treated me like family, I was in pain, but she made me feel so much better, I wish I could remember her name. The Dr was amazing as well, very attentive & concerned about my illness, we went over my allergies to make sure she was prescribing me the right medication & she did, she put it in during my visit, I would choose UOC URGENT CARE DEARBORN LOCATION over & over again, I’m feeling better after a day…Thank you to the entire team who treated me yesterday!!!

I would highly recommend this urgent care to others. I was seen by Nurse Raquela and Dr. Opanasets who were both extremely professional and caring. I had a fairly gnarly wound and the two went the extra mile to be accommodating of my lightheadedness and get me stitched up with minimal stress.

If i could i would not give this one star at all. This is the worst place to go if you are worried about your health. I was there today and the doctor totally ignored my concerns, she didn’t even bother to ran some tests, kept telling me that i was good and my concerns are not accurate. She did a vision test for me asking me to read the same letters which I started to memorize, and I told her that my vision is blurry but she was like no you read that you good. (Ofc I read that cuz i memorized that cuz the asked me read the same letters all the time). After them i went to the MidWest Express Clinic, they heard me and they start running all the tests they can possibly run. And my vision test was not good like you guys were saying. It felt like the doctor didn’t want to deal with me and the kept saying if you don’t feel good go to ER.

I've been to this facility twice. The second visit was great, but the first visit had the potential to be truly harmful. I had an erratic, irregular heartbeat, and UChicago Student Wellness told me to go to the urgent care for an EKG since their machine was down. Dr. Kim took my pulse on my wrist and said I was probably anxious. I offered to show him the EKG taken on my Apple Watch that showed a chaotic heartbeat, and he said it wasn't necessary. I reported back to Student Wellness, who pulled some strings to get me in with a cardiologist at the UChicago hospital. Surprise, surprise, I've been on cardiac medication ever since.
