I came here with a protracted respiratory virus. The RN seemed excellent. The x-ray technicians were excellent. The NP was mediocre --- They got the diagnosis right (chest x-ray > pneumonia) but the antibiotic initially prescribed did not work. My primary care told me it wasn't going to work for pneumonia when I called him when I got home... and sure enough the next day I Felt worse and had to come back into the Emergency Room for an additional antibiotic. They also gave me no advice on breathing exercises or tools like a spirometer, which is pretty essential to an effective pneumonia treatment protocol. I would expected a competent NP to have done all of these things.

Clair R Sanchez older retired looking lady who checked me in made the adult urgent care experience horrible with her bad attitude and the way she treats patients. I’m surprised UNM allows staff to treat patients bad when we already are worried or not feeling good. Either she should go work at a jail where she can really treat people who deserve it bad or get fired. I’m tired of people treating people with no respect!

My wife was very ill. The urgent care attended to her needs with IV fluids and found she needed further testing.

Everyone here has been so sweet. I had a hard time finding a place with no insurance while being so sick and once I got here they understood. Renelle was my NP and helped lower my blood pressure 60 points. Thank you for everything.

Short wait, Renelle, Nicholas, Deb, and the lovely nurse who i cannot remember the name of that was with them(I'm so sorry!!) were all amazing patient people with me and were very gentle and kind with me despite my issues. Worked with me and was sympathetic when I was having trouble keeping my medication down. Thank you all.
