Staff was laughing with each other, friendly and courteous. That made me think Duke City must provide a nice work environment since the staff did not seem disgruntled. Triage was efficient and direct. The PA provider was friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and to the point in providing a plan if care. Of note, the staff at my Duke City Primary Care at another location is also exceptionally friendly.

I was feeling poorly and I showed up as a walk in. I have been there before, and they remembered my demographics. They took my vitals and did a triage. Then I saw the provider. The provider was excellent at communicating her thoughts regarding differential diagnosis and the limits of urgent care. The care was very professional and I ended up with a referral to a specialist so that I could pursue things further. I sometimes have to wait weeks or months to see my primary care provider. I appreciate having access to urgent care so that I can address something more quickly when needed. I appreciate the excellent care and the professionalism.

I was very impressed with my first visit there. The PA Kristin was extremely knowledgeable, professional, detailed, caring and sympathetic to my situation. The staff was friendly and I got in and out quickly. I would not hesitate returning. I will also look to establish a primary doctor there as I am visiting for an extended time from another state. Thank you for taking care of me!

I have use this urgent care off and on for about eight years now I went in a few days ago and it was the worst care I've received from a provider there. His name is Aaron. I will be 50years in July have many allergies and at various times have different flar ups. Well I ate a brownie and my immune system started telling me something was wrong. So I keep benadryl at home tried to cure myself to where my tongue was swollen and my tonsils were white. In short its seemed as if Aaron was only concerned about why I didn't establish with there (Primary) I like dude my tonsils are on fire and tongue is swollen making it hard for me to breathe and the only thing you worried about is why I didn't establish with a primary ? ? ? . Also I have a history of high blood pressure which elevates when I'm stressed and goes down quickly I already went through this process with a doctor I appreciated for four years do missed that four years to where it always came down to when I stressed. HBP runs in my family for years and have not not one soul in my family had a stroke or died from it. ////// SIDE NOTE THIS IS MY FAMILY AND MY DIAGNOSIS HBP IS VERY SERIOUS CONDITION. ///// ALL IN ALL IM writing that I did not feel as if I was giving the treatment that I needed. Aaron saw my white tonsils and swollen tongue and gave me no antibiotics even with me telling him of the one I can take the only reason I didn't go to the ER is because I'm a single woman with two dogs and a cat and from past experiences I know I would have been admitted but didn't have arrangements for them so I went to my my Primary Care and Walla!!!!! There like omg How could a doctor release you like this even if you couldn't diagnose anything and instant strep and mono test were negative you should been given something. And antibiotic was NOT going to harm me. Is stated some type of pill will I told him I need a benadryl shot. I don't why but for my body if taking the benadryl pill doesn't work I need a benedryl shot. It's stop all the swelling instantly I told him this. Or he could have given me a shot of the antibiotic he worked because he saw it in my history. I was taking something else knowing how my allergies are to risk my situation even worse. Now the only reason I gave ONE star is for the two medical assistants Sonya and Nicole with those two I felt care for as well as the urgent care ck in clerk. They were the three I felt better and safe with sad to Aaron my life was on the line and he was too much of a rookie for me I on the road to recovery today because I used my smarts. It's Urgent Care not a now let's wait and see and BTW someone was supposed to call me back about my sent away culture 4days ago for you to to your next step as of right now I still haven't heard anything.
