I had an urgent care appointment with Dr. Malek Parastou and waited in the exam room for over an hour. When I asked the staff if I would be seen soon, I was told that the doctor would be with me shortly. Unfortunately, I continued to wait without any updates or explanation for the delay. I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, but better communication and consideration for patients' time would have been greatly appreciated. The experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially for an urgent care appointment.

“We almost didn’t come here because of some of the reviews, but I’m very glad we decided to go anyway. Our experience was completely different from what we expected. The front desk staff were not rude at all — they were just straightforward and clearly very busy. We were treated respectfully and checked in without any issues. Dr. Kevin was amazing: professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel comfortable and taken seriously. We also interacted with three different nurses during the visit, and every single one of them was an absolute delight. They were kind, attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience much better. Overall, this urgent care exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely come back if needed.”

Went here for the first time with my boyfriend yesterday and we got checked in and spoke with Joe in the waiting room, took the vitals very aggressive and was completely rude. The whole staff is rude, the doctor answered with I don’t know and looked everything up on google right in front of us because she didn’t know anything. People kept walking in the room frustrated because we were there past 630. We will gladly travel all the way to the south valley to be seen next time. That urgent care is nothing but amazing.

Don't waste your time of money going to urgent care here. EVERYTIME they end up sending you to Pres Now down the street even if its not an emergent issue. Its like they don't want to help you but they do keep your co pay and then have to pay again at PresNow. I recommend just skipping Atrisco Urgent Care all together.

I was just seen here a few days ago the nurse that I saw was not nice. She didn’t take care of me well, she swabbed for some tests and didn’t even prepare me. Just stuck three different swabs up my nose whenever she wanted. The nurse practitioner that assessed me didn’t even try to figure out what was wrong. She just said she could do anything for me. She didn’t think critically at all. Would not recommend Geraldine or Celestina.
