I would give negative five stars if it were possible. My experience at PRESNow Urgent Care was beyond unacceptable and genuinely concerning from a patient safety standpoint. I sat in the facility for over three hours with a large, unexplained lump on the back of my head something that could indicate a serious condition such as a concussion or internal bleeding. During that entire time, not a single nurse checked on me. No one assessed my condition, asked about symptoms, or even verified whether I was stable. I was effectively ignored. Meanwhile, I watched multiple groups of patients arrive after me and receive prompt attention being called back, evaluated, and treated while I remained completely overlooked. What made the situation worse was the response from the charge nurse. After I clearly expressed my concern that no one had evaluated me despite the potential severity of my condition, I was met with indifference and dismissal. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no effort to correct what was clearly a breakdown in care. This is not just poor customer service this is a failure of basic medical responsibility. When someone presents with a possible head injury, time and evaluation matter. Ignoring a patient in that condition for hours is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. If you value your health or believe your condition may be serious, I strongly advise you to seek care elsewhere. No patient should ever feel neglected or unsafe in a medical facility.

A year ago I was at the Menaul location for a busted knee from mountain biking. This year I went to their Paseo location because I can't cut an onion. Honestly, I've been pretty impressed by the service we were provided, both times. The nurses have been super kind and attentive and the doctors honestly really blew me away with their experience and bedside manner. I'm sure people have varying experiences but I've been really happy with mine. I never want to go back because why would I but, if I have to, I feel super comfortable going there. Props to the staff, you guys rock!

I love this location! Every time I've come here for myself or for my family we've always had a great experience! The staff in the front that checks us in is always smiling and super friendly and gets us check in and registered in a timely manner! All the Dr's that I've been seen by and my family has been seen by are also always smiling and they take great care of our needs! Thank you Presbyterian staff for always being awesome!

Short version: Dismissive service, disappointing urgent care visit converts to a costly ER visit. Below is an important longer read if you want to be properly informed. In healthcare, perception isn’t just opinion — it defines the patient’s reality. On 11/29/25 I went to PresNow after the Presbyterian nurse hotline urged immediate care for possible (DVT) clot risk, stating PresNow was the best facility to receive care and that my situation (swollen right ankle no external trauma) was dire enough to seek attention within four hours. That urgency made me believe I was facing something serious as neither of my ankles have ever swelled. Instead, when I arrived, the facility was empty and the atmosphere felt absolutely dismissive. If this had been only an urgent care visit, it was one of the least attentive urgent care experiences I've witnessed first hand — minimal exam, an ultrasound, no meaningful monitoring, and no clear discharge or follow‑up instructions after the test was reportedly negative. After waiting hours for some type of diagnosis, prognosis, instructions, or discharge that was promised but never delivered, I was required to sign papers converting the visit into an ER encounter. That conversion added financial exploitation to clinical neglect: the care I received didn’t even qualify as adequate urgent care, yet I was billed as an ER patient in an empty facility, potentially hundreds of dollars more. I asked the person who brought me the discharge paperwork if he could tell me more and he said he cannot answer my questions and would send the doctor in. I waited another 30 minutes then the doctor briefly appeared at the nurses’ station I walked out of the room and asked the doctor who was on a private call if he was coming to see me as I had questions and he said he would see me in a minute remained on his call and never returned. I sat alone in the room for another approximately 5 minutes before simply walking out no one stopping me, with the security guard being the only person to acknowledge me as I left. As someone with some years of experience in urgent care and in MICU medical capacity, having worked alongside hospitals and participated in hospital in‑service in Chicago and suburbs in several intense ER environments, I found this level of care unbelievably appalling compared to professional standards I have personally delivered to patients. When I shared my concerns, PresNow’s response was polite but dismissive — thanking me for my “patience as they grow and improve” rather than addressing the lack of monitoring, communication, or discharge instructions. Internal reviews will usually get you this... thus... a Google review. Combined with the practice of converting what felt like a weak urgent care encounter into an ER visit, this reinforced the impression that patient care is secondary to billing and appearances. Also I might add that I did complete an request for a return call from Presbyterian Insurance regarding this visit and have received no communication from them in almost a week. Rated 2 stars because it was not 100% bad. Future patients should be aware: PresNow may advertise urgent and emergency care under one roof, but the reality can be a substandard urgent care experience repackaged with ER billing, costing far more while delivering perceptively far less.

I came in on a Saturday morning with a very nasty dog bite. I was seen In about half an hour by medical assistant, Jessica.. She did an amazing job stitching up this wound which was gaping open about 1 inch wide. Totally great! I felt that I was very well taken care of. She’s my new hero!
