Just don’t go here. I made an appointment, arrived early, and still wasn’t seen for over 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not sure what the point of scheduling is if patients aren’t seen anywhere close to their appointment time. After finally being seen, we were told they couldn’t help and needed to go to the ER. I understand that, but then why were we seen and billed in the first place? What’s even more frustrating is the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff. We clearly listed the symptoms on the intake form. When I called afterward to ask about the bill and process, the staff member I spoke to had an attitude from the start. She said we “shouldn’t have been seen,” but also claimed they don’t know what the provider can treat. So which is it? We were billed over $250 for a visit where nothing was actually done, and when I tried to get clarification, it was implied that this was somehow my fault. The issue isn’t the money it’s the lack of transparency and accountability. I would not recommend this place. Please read the other reviews before booking.

Today we visited on a Sunday evening just before closing for an X-ray for my daughter. She sprained her ankle playing basketball and the swelling became really bad. I saw a few reviews from fellow trusted Yelpers and decided to make the visit to avoid waiting until morning. I love UNC Rex and we see a few providers in the area. The front desk reception staff and providers were excellent. Ginger was hilarious. They assisted us promptly and there was no wait. I highly recommend!!!!!

I arrived first thing on a Sunday morning and was admitted immediately. The staff and PA was super helpful, professional, competent, and kind. I highly recommend this urgent care facility

I can’t say enough good things about UNC Urgent Care in Raleigh. One of the biggest reasons I chose this UNC Urgent Care is they take appointments and actually run on time—something that is rare these days! The receptionist was kind, polite, and professional, and I only waited about 10 minutes before being taken back to a room. This was my fourth visit, and every time has been on a weekend. My previous visits were for a concussion, a dog attack, and a severe spider bite that spread across my entire stomach. Most recently, I went in for a possible tick bite on my shoulder. During this visit, I was first taken back by a nursing assistant who was absolutely amazing. The RN was also incredibly helpful, and the provider, who treated me, was outstanding. Every time I’ve been there, they have explained everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms and made sure all of my questions were answered. The facility itself is immaculate and pristine. The layout and overall setup are phenomenal, making the entire experience efficient and comfortable. Honestly, I wish all of my doctors’ offices operated this way. Thank you to the entire team for consistently providing such excellent care and service. Highly recommended!

We are from out-of-town. I fell in Oberlin Cemetery (always be careful!) and got banged up pretty badly. Every person here was kind, professional, and thorough. We were in and out with an hour, which was good for cleaning up the wound areas, taking care of a cut, and getting an x-ray and tetanus shot. A special shoutout to Jennifer, the APRN who led my care, but, really, my thanks go out to everyone there.
