Alisha Holbert, PA is incompetent and our visit today was nothing short of dismissive. I went to this urgent care for some peace of mind after i’ve been having a consistent cough and having to use my inhaler more frequently. Last year, I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my lungs incidentally after I went to the hospital for the flu. Given this situation, I asked Alisha for a couple things that may have given me some peace. I asked if I could have a chest x-ray to which she responded, “my ears work perfectly fine, your lungs are clear. your HR is not tachy and your oxygen is fine.” (I looked and sounded fine last year but had a blood clot in my lung.) Auscultation alone is not a diagnostic tool and that was a very stupid thing to say. I asked if I could have blood work done. Alisha responded, “why?” “what kind?”. I told her I wanted basic labs to test for my infection and maybe a d-dimer. Alisha told me “well if your dimer is positive here you’ll just have to go to the ER for a full work up anyway.” Thanks Alisha. I knew that already. However, that doesn’t mean that you should toss your patients to the ER because you don’t want to take care of them. Given my symptoms, I assumed that Alisha would at least attempt to swab me for flu, covid, or RSV…she did not. Though, a simple PCR would’ve told you that RSV would’ve explained my symptoms and you could’ve better diagnosed me and I could’ve completely avoided the ER bill. The icing on the cake is Alisha told me that I have “a [no name] virus that’s going around. it’s not testing positive for flu or covid but people have symptoms for weeks.” and prescribed me antibiotics…. I’m surprised that in Alisha’s “several years of experience” that she has not learned that the physical presentation and normal vital signs of a patient does not mean that they are fine. And .dot phrases are not good examples of patient-centered care particularly when my discharge instructions contradict themselves by prescribing me antibiotics while simultaneously telling me that they are not indicated and will do nothing for me (see photo). As I was sitting in my car crying while talking to my dad about my 15 minute visit, I noticed Alisha walking to her car and leaving. I’m sure that this was why I was dismissed so quickly due to her not wanting to wait to interpret of my results. Sorry that my care and requests got in the way of you leaving work on time. I hope this gets looked at and it is acknowledged that providers like Alisha Holbert, PA-C are part of the reason why patients hesitate to seek care.

I have come here a few times, great location great staff. I got stitches at start of December and they removed them at 0 charge to you! This is such a huge deal as I find care is expensive its so convenient an reassuring I don't have to worry about the last bit of care. It gets people in to ensure things are healing properly and stops people from risking removing them on their own. What a great great policy I wish more places had it!

Would not provide me any medication despite vomiting and clearly in pain. They have one weekend doctor who is super helpful but otherwise I will be trying to get a refund from my most recent appointment. Highly recommend a different clinic or practice all together

I've been here twice in thebpast year and have received excellent treatment both times. The staff sre friendly and it's usually not too crowded for an urgent care.

The place was great. I was in severe pain, they got me in, were caring, assessed my pain, and took immediate steps to relieve it. The RN and the PA (both Britney) solved the problem, gave me a script, and sent me on my way. Thank you !!!!
