Memorial Hospital North Emergency was amazing. It is so clean and organized. The entire staff was smiling and seemed eager to take care of every patient in the waiting area. None of the patients were acting like they felt ignored or overlooked. Very impressed.

This place just sucks overall. I've been treated at many other parts of the UCHealth system and have had a generally positive experience overall. This emergency department isn't it though. The doctor that saw us was completely dismissive and his nurse seemed like she was inconvenienced by us being there. It was as though anyone less than having shrapnel sticking out of your head was below the level of care they were willing to provide. The other reviews about poor bedside manner were 1000% correct. These people just don't care. Or they're too busy to truly care. Or probably a terrible combination of both. Not something you want when a life-death situation arises and they're in charge of it. Either way, if you value yourself and getting the best possible care... avoid this place at all cost. It could literally cost you your life.

I had two experiences one on the 24th and the other on 25 March 2026. Both involved placement of a Foley catheter as I had complete urinary obstruction which profoundly painful. The catheter came out during the night and needed to be replaced the following day. The nurse who saw me on the 25th was compassionate, gentle and congenial, as opposed to my experience the previous day when none of those accolades were present. I have given a lot of statements about experiences on Google and I’m sorry to have to say anything negative. in general, I love going to UCHealth facilities and nd this experience was an operation.

Doctor was great! Very professional and approachable. Nurses were rude and condescending. Made to feel as if we were putting them out for doing their job. God forbid we needed assistance.

The overall care experience was extremely dismissive. The nurse appeared sarcastic and rude, asking me to rate my pain from 1–10. I told her it was still at a 3. Shortly after, she returned and abruptly stated that I was being discharged and essentially instructed me to leave. She asked if I could walk on my own; when I said yes, she handed me my paperwork, removed my IV, and I left without any meaningful discussion of my condition or care plan. From intake to discharge, I interacted with approximately five staff members, and at no point did anyone demonstrate concern, empathy, or attentiveness to my medical needs. This was, without question, the worst medical care experience I have ever had.
