Sid Clark 4 months agoI visited this urgent care a few times - 6 ish times overall - recently and overall felt disappointed with the experience. The main issue was how rushed everything felt. During my first visit, basic measurements like weight and height were not taken — I was simply asked to estimate them myself. The appointment moved very quickly and didn’t feel particularly thorough. I returned later, and that visit felt even more rushed. After briefly explaining what was wrong and getting my vitals checked, the appointment was essentially over. There wasn’t much discussion or detailed examination. The phone experience was similar. When I called with a question about my medication, the response was extremely brief. It felt like the call was being wrapped up before I had the chance to speak, and I had to quickly say something to keep the conversation going. The interaction felt hurried and dismissive. Additionally, when I arrived for one of my visits, front desk staff appeared to be playing games while patients were coming in. That stood out to me, especially given how rushed the actual appointments felt. Overall, while the clinic did not seem overly busy during my visits, the care consistently felt rushed and lacking in thoroughness. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication and patient attention.
lil ski (weirdonero) 6 months agoDr. Christine Paprocki was completely unhelpful. I went in today for my chronic kidney issue I have been going through. Possible kidney stones. Never had such a rude, entitled, self revolving doctor treat me. I have had one or two doctors in the past not look fully into details of concerns I brought to them, but this doctor at this location completely baffled me with how rude and uncaring she was for my wellbeing. Constantly joking and not hearing the details of what I had been going through with my kidney issues all year long. I had said I was dealing with them all year, and with it being the 2nd of january she made the funny haha joke of “well its day 2 of the year, so man you really have been going through it!” I knew exactly how this was goin to go just hearing that. While crying to her about my concern for myself and not understanding what could be wrong with me or causing such issues so fast and chronically, she said “you seem frustrated, if you think I havent given you the care you need you should go find it elsewhere” what care did she give me aside from “i have no idea whats wrong with you.” ? what is her purpose then? isnt your job to help me and listen to me with what I am bringing you? you really dont seem to care about your job and the true meaning of being in that position. To help people. The entire experience made me feel hopeless and unhopeful for people when it comes to getting help. Really sad experience. The nurse was cool, they seen to listen more than the doctor most times. Really upsetting experience. Im sure i am not the first to feel this from her “care”.
Taryn Knightly a month agoI cannot thank this clinic enough. I have a UTI that spread to my kidneys and went to another doctor first who didn’t test my urine and told me I just slept on my back wrong, was condescending about me saying I believed it was in my kidneys like I couldn’t possibly know that, and were only going to give me antibiotics for a standard UTI. My husband and I left immediately and came to this clinic instead and my nurse and doctor gave me the absolute best treatment. My doctor came in already having tested my urine, checked me out, and confirmed that it was spreading to my kidneys and I was lucky to catch it so early because it could’ve caused serious damage. She was attentive, believed me, and took it as seriously as I was and got me on the correct medication and confirmed that regular UTI meds wouldn’t have helped my kidney and I could’ve had serious health complications if it would’ve kept attacking my body. It’s been 5 hours since I took the meds she prescribed and I already feel better and my kidneys aren’t screaming in pain anymore. I seriously can’t thank this clinic and its nurses and doctors enough, they might’ve actually saved my life.
Lizards Can Hop 5 months agoMy all time favourite place to go for all the aches, pains, fevers etc… for me AND my son. They’re always SO NICE! They actually listen to you, and there’s no 3 hours of waiting while holding my kid with a 101° fever, or waiting forever while I have a completely shattered finger! (…a coupler of things I’ve been there for in the past 😅). So yes, definitely recommend….It really is very hard to find good care these days in all facets of life. So I really am so thankful to have them right around the corner 😌
Duchess Artemis a month agoThough I went in and told them that my kidneys were swelling and I hadn't slept in 2 days. I had to tell the Dr I had a needlephobia she said well you have a tattoo so you should get through it okay. Those are two totally different types of needles. Doing two totally different types of things. They're nowhere near the same. And she was basically undermining my phobia where I actually would faint if I would get a injection of something in my arm or leg. My mother has it too. But I guess that's a joke to her. And then when I was talking with the nurse, I told her that I had not followed up with a previous injury and she asked me like three times, You didn't go to this!?! You didn't go to this?!? You didn't go to this!? Said no. Sorry I moved recently and it's very far away now. She just rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. I have to tell you I'd never been in a place where I felt like the nurse was going to stab me with the needle and instead of take my blood. I left and I went back to the doctor that I was supposed to go to previously. Even though it was over than an hour away, I was too scared to go into this clinic and start doing actual work with them. If you get on their good side I guess they could be good.
