I dont usually write reviews but noticed this place had a lot of bad reviews and it didn't match my experience. I was in and out of urgent care within an hour on Tuesday morning and had a really good experience with every doctor, nurse and other member of staff I interacted with. They addressed my concerns quickly and kindly. I had been put off slightly by the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised.

We went there because we needed a pain killer for tooth 9 out of 10 tooth pain. They decided to prescribe opioids. Not lidocaine injection into a gum. Guess what? The RX can’t be fulfilled in any pharmacy and HAS TO BE CALLED IN BY A DOCTOR! they prescribed painkillers that can’t even be picked up from from pharmacy. We paid cash for sitting here for 3 hours, $250 for a visit and medicine that we wont be able to take. Now we have to simply stay up all night until our dentist appointment. I truly wish same level of pain upon every person complicit of this pure incompetence. Still wonder why would they prescribe 12 pills of opioids instead of just a lidocaine injection into a gum?when we needed a temporary relief until 11am dentist appointment? These pills need to be taken 1 every 6 hrs. We need to survive 12 hrs only. Why there is a need for 12 pills? Their pharmacy couldn’t fill it in and they couldn’t provide us with any address for any pharmacy that is open late. Which is the “top” hospitality experience. Once we found one all the way on Virginia paid $50 to get there only to hear they can’t fill it in and it has to be called in by a doctor. So I guess thanks for taking out money Kaiser and leave us still in pain because you don’t know how to properly fill in prescription for painkiller that you deemed to be suitable.

My daughter, a college student from out of state, paid out of pocket to be seen for an ear infection over the weekend. Was prescribed antibiotics and told to call back in 2 days if no improvement. Two days later she was still in excruciating pain. Called back and was told it was another $250 to be seen again. Went to CVS Minute Clinic instead, where she was prescribed ear drops for a double ear infection. Very disappointed that Kaiser Permanente couldn't properly diagnose and treat an ordinary ear infection, or take responsibility for a misdiagnosis. I do not recommend this place.

I had a scheduled appointment at the Medical Center on a Friday afternoon. All of the staff were friendly and professional. My appointment and doctor were on time, and I completed my procedure earlier than expected. I was somewhat frustrated that the KP app that I was encouraged to use was difficult to use at the Med Center. It may be that you have to log onto the KP wifi first. It also seems they have cut staffing as the reception desk on the 6th floor and cafeteria in the lobby were closed.

I showed up as an out of network patient who was in need of immediate care. This urgent care has a policy that they cannot xray unless you are in network which is understandable. The doctor was very kind to bandage me up, gave me a splint, and recommended a nearby ER.
