Came in for an ankle sprain and issue with my shoulder after a fall and me dropping a shower rod on my shoulder which previously had a subluxation. I was eventually brought into the back where I waited for help. Eventually, I had to remind a desk employee around 5:50 that I was there for an xray and the imaging guy was leaving at 6pm (I called ahead for this information) I had to brief this person on why I was there and eventually managed to get my xrays. At no point did anyone actually examine my ankle or shoulder, which bothered me a lot considering i was complaining of finger numbness and neck pain on the side of the shoulder which previously had a subluxation and a rod dropped onto it earlier in the day. My ankle also was visibly discolored with a lot of blood pooling under the skin. I did not see a doctor even once. I got my xrays, they said it was normal and i began crying because my fingers were still numb and i was still in plenty of pain. I was asked if I wanted a bandage and I said yes so that my ankle could be stabilized. I was asked if I wanted crutches and I said no and had to remind this person I was there for shoulder pain. The next person I saw wrapped my ankle much too loose to stabilize anything, I had to re-wrap it in my lyft home. My discharge papers also had inaccurate information, like saying I came in for knee pain. They also failed to document the chronic condition that caused the sprain and subluxation I mentioned several times. I have a very fragile body and get hurt like this regularly. Everyone was very polite so I feel bad for complaining but I really regret coming. Im very frustrated with the general experience because I was in pain and left alone in a room until I reminded them that I was there. Im still baffled that no one even examined me! Everyone seems so nice, this sucks. The little link they send to check on my results also didnt even work 😭 I really hate that this didn't work out because again, everyone was so chill! Update: Called like they asked since so many mistakes were made and the person I spoke to refused to admit any wrongdoing so please just avoid this place or make sure you're extremely firm with them (and record) because im genuinely disturbed theyre able to function this way.

My first there was a little nervous doing the weather conditions hurt my knee and the staff was pleasant no waiting time at all i be returning if I should need assist thank you so much for taking care of me

I visited Cedar Hill ER around 7 PM, and my experience started off very positively. The receptionist was kind, welcoming, and seemed genuinely concerned about my condition. I was placed in a room immediately, which I truly appreciated. Shortly after settling in, Nurse Paul came in. He was professional, attentive, and quickly got started with my IV line and blood work. He even mentioned that his shift had already ended 30 minutes earlier, but he didn’t want to leave until someone else took over my care. That level of dedication did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, things took a drastic turn after that. While waiting, I overheard a staff member in the hallway discussing dinner plans with a security officer for an upcoming date. Soon after, Paul returned with the next nurse, Dominique, to hand off patients. During this transition, Dominique loudly stated in the middle of the hallway that she was not taking certain patients and complained about “all these damn problems” before storming off. This was shocking and extremely unprofessional. Paul returned to apologize and continued to care for me, explaining the labs and drawing additional blood. Eventually, Dominique came in, introduced herself, and said she would start my IV drip—but then got distracted, said “one minute,” and didn’t return for at least 20–30 minutes. During that time, I was taken for X-rays and brought back, still without receiving the IV drip. I also overheard Dominique and another staff member speaking rudely about a patient next door who was simply asking for a blanket. Their conversation was loud and completely unprofessional, especially with patient room doors open. When Dominique finally returned, she laughed and acknowledged she hadn’t completed the IV drip yet. When she did administer it, it felt rushed. Afterward, she was again nowhere to be found when I needed assistance, and another nurse had to step in to help me. Later, the doctor informed me that my results looked good and that discharge papers would be ready soon. However, when I went to the nurse’s station after waiting, I saw Dominique and other staff members on their phones for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When I explained what the doctor had said, Dominique became loud and dismissive, stating she hadn’t been informed and asking if I was leaving “on my own.” At that point, I chose not to engage further due to the disrespect. I went directly to the doctor, who printed my discharge papers, and another nurse removed my IV. As I was leaving, Dominique approached the doctor apologetically, offering to help, but at no point did she apologize to me for her behavior or lack of care. This experience was extremely disappointing. While Paul and the receptionist provided excellent care, the overall professionalism of other staff—particularly Dominique—was unacceptable. No patient should be made to feel ignored, disrespected, or like a burden. I will be following up with a formal complaint. Regardless of the location or community, patients deserve dignity, respect, and proper care at all times.

All I can say is WOW! From setting up the appointment to walking out the door with my phoned-in prescription — and this was the best experience I’ve had with a healthcare facility. Without exception, every person I encountered greeted me professionally and gave me the confidence I’d be treated well. They are an “East of the River” facility with “Georgetown” service!!! I highly recommend you schedule an appointment, as that assures you will be serviced fairly quickly. Again, KUDOS to the entire staff!

Had severe chest pain for few days. Arrived and was immediately taken into room. Doctor ordered tests and although things were normal, she still went above and beyond with her concern and encouraged me to go to ER for further evaluation, just to be on the safe side. The staff that took my vitals was also so polite and made me comfortable the whole time. Love this urgent care!!!
