MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Adams Morgan

I had a very positive experience at MedStar Health Urgent Care in Adams Morgan. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and professional, and the check-in process was quick and straightforward. I appreciated how clean and organized the facility was, especially during a busy time of day. The medical team was attentive, patient, and thorough in explaining everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and they took the time to answer my questions and make sure I understood the next steps for treatment. The provider was knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cared about helping me feel better. What stood out most was the efficiency of the visit without sacrificing quality of care. Being able to reserve a spot online also made the experience much more convenient. Overall, this is one of the better urgent care experiences I’ve had in DC, and I would definitely return if I needed care again.

Having to go in on Mother’s I definitely felt guilty especially for such a small thing. This was a facility I was sent to from another one I made an appointment at but couldn’t serve me. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The first person to do my intake was very nice but I don’t recall her name. Lindsay, the PA, that did my main “procedure” was friendly, thorough, and kindly reminded me to check back if I had any issues later. Overall one of the better experiences I’ve had at any type of medical facility. Very grateful to all of them for working that day especially and making it an easy experience.

The nurse who did my intake (I think her name was Daphne?) was super kind and efficient. They were down a doctor and were still incredibly helpful and attentive. The man who did my x ray (Muhammad) was such a great practitioner and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.

Though the wait was long (4 hours when all was said and done), everyone I interacted with was courteous, caring, and helpful. Mohamed who took my x-ray was especially kind and warm and Dr. Rajbir was really attuned and understanding and helped me figure out the best treatment for myself.

My best urgent care experience in DC in the past 5 years.The entire staff was super kind and the process was pretty quick without feeling rushed. I was referred to the hospital with an order from their doctor after speaking virtually to an ER doc which made the hospital experience much more comfortable than my previous visits.
