From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. The nurse practitioner Jordan was patient, thorough, and very easy to talk to. She addressed all of my concerns and made sure I felt confident about next steps. It’s rare to find a provider who combines professionalism with genuine compassion. I’m very grateful for the care I received.

I went to MinuteClinic on Wednesday with severe throat pain that felt like a knife in my neck. The pain was already very intense and clearly not normal. A rapid strep test was performed and, when it came back negative, it was concluded that it was allergies. The evaluation was extremely brief and dismissive. I was sent home, told I could return to normal activities, and advised to buy allergy medication. Between Wednesday and Friday, I could not eat, sleep, or work. The pain did not stop or improve at any point. Because I was told it was allergies, I tried to push through it by drinking tea, using hot and cold remedies, and taking ibuprofen, expecting it to improve. By Friday, it escalated to the point where I experienced a strange and concerning discharge from my mouth, which made it clear something was seriously wrong. I went to a primary care doctor, who examined me and, within seconds, recognized the severity of the situation. I was immediately sent to the emergency room, with a call ahead to report it as urgent. At the ER, I underwent a full medical evaluation, including imaging and blood tests, and was diagnosed with a peritonsillar abscess. This required an immediate surgical intervention. I was told I was fortunate to have come in when I did, as it could have progressed into a life-threatening, septic situation. It has now been several days, and the follow-up test from MinuteClinic has still not come back. I will never go back to MinuteClinic and do not recommend it to anyone. If you are experiencing severe symptoms, go directly to the ER or see a primary care doctor.

I visited the MinuteClinic at CVS this afternoon, one hour and sixteen minutes before closing. However, the staff member, Sventlana Insomnia (see attached photo), told me the clinic was closed. I explained that there was still more than an hour remaining, but she responded that she also had phone calls to answer. Imagine going to urgent care and being turned away more than an hour before the official closing time, by giving silly reasons like "I also have phone calls to answer". It was so disappointing. I don't understand why people like this, who don't take their job responsibilities seriously, are employed in such an important setting. I am beyond sad and disappointed.

Great experience here. Set appointment online, was seen right on time. Place is very clean, easy to find, and everyone there is caring and professional. I got the treatment I needed, and was able to fill my prescriptions there, which saved me another stop and wait when I was already sick. I highly recommend them.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with MinuteClinic regarding my DOT physical on December 1. I had a 9:20 AM appointment and arrived at 9:09, but after struggling to find parking, I made it into the clinic at 9:23 AM. Despite being just a few minutes late and fully prepared, the technician refused to see me for my DOT physical. I rescheduled for 2:30 PM at another location, arrived at 2:15, and still wasn’t seen until 2:47. The physical ended around 3:30 PM — but then the technician couldn’t print my DOT card. I ended up sitting there for three hours just for her to manually write a card so that I could take my CDL permit exam today, December 2. This morning I went to the DMV for my 10:00 AM appointment, only to be told my DOT exam was never entered into the system. I called the MinuteClinic, and they told me the nurse practitioner would call me back. After an hour and a half with no update, I had to leave the DMV because I couldn’t waste any more time. My information is stuck somewhere in their system and they can’t generate a new file. I paid $122 for this physical and still cannot proceed with my CDL permit exam — which impacts my ability to work. The lack of urgency, accuracy, and accountability is unbelievable. At this point, it feels like MinuteClinic simply does not care about the people who rely on them.
