Our experience during our visit could not have been better and the level of care was wonderful. The facility was easy to find and there was zero waiting. Everyone was extremely helpful and super friendly. Let me be crystal clear: This health care provider was truly amazing. After a quick array of tests, we received the results. The APRN was friendly, knowledgable, sympathetic and answered all our questions. They make the process very easy, accessible and extremely affordable. Two days later, when we requested a note from the APRN to document the visit, the clinic responded immediately. I honestly can’t say enough about how grateful we were to find this clinic, as we were tourists and were unfamiliar with the area. Thank you to everyone at Kuhio Walk in Medical Clinic! You saved our vacation.

Found this walk-in clinic through a Google search. It was close to our hotel and had great reviews which, as it turned out, were very accurate. The front desk staff and the clinician were excellent and friendly. They filed our insurance and just took a co-pay. Coming in with a sore throat, they were able to run quick tests for strep, covid, flu and RSV with results ready in 15 minutes. The history and exam were thorough to properly diagnose and treat.

I can say I totally recommend this clinic. From the time I called my insurance company and got the appointment all set to go there. The front staff were amazing. And the nurse and Dr were so friendly Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this Clinic

I accidentally kicked a buried mushy branch on the beach in Waimanalo and jammed debris between my big toe nail and the side cuticle-but didn’t know it- foot was covered with sand, I saw no blood, so sucked it up and went about my beach afternoon. That night it was so swollen and painful that the next morning I went to an urgent care in Kailua. The doc there was fine, scraped out some of the branch left overs out and prescribed my antibiotics, topical and systemic (pills). 4-5 days later the swelling had come down and the pain abated, but it still looked nasty. So a friend recommended I visit Dr Stevenson and his staff at Kuhio Walk In Clinic so I drove out there. The front desk person Nichole greeted me warmly and took some information I was seen within 5 minutes by an RN who took vitals and a peek at the toe to make a report to the physician. Dr Stevenson gave my toe an examination, complete with magnifying glass and overhead light to see what I did to myself. He took a swab of the wound area for culture to see if the antibiotic I had been prescribed would work with the microbes found leaking out of my tissues!! If not, he would call in a different one and told me it would take 3 days to culture it. He had a student with him and all of us got to learn about how to care for this injury, expected timelines and specific activity restrictions (I surf- don’t surf with an infection btw.) Throughout the visit, the staff was polite, attentive, answered my questions or sought answers if they didn’t know, and treated me with respect and compassion. It felt like family tbh. I felt relieved in knowing exactly what I was supposed to do to help heal my toe. So all this to say I do highly recommend Kuhio walk in clinic here in Waikiki area. And avoid buried tree branches ;)
