Bianca L 2 months agoThe staff member who checked me in, Cynthia, was very unprofessional, mocked my injury; laughed and questioned whether this was my initial visit for a work-related injury, even though I had already been evaluated in the Emergency Department for the same issue. She referenced my ER note stating “no trauma per patient” and communicated this in a way that felt dismissive. While “no trauma” refers to the absence of a single acute event, it does not mean there was no injury, particularly in cases of repetitive strain. This was not explained and instead felt minimizing while I was seeking care for ongoing pain. As a healthcare worker, I understand medical documentation, but front-desk interactions should remain neutral and supportive. This interaction added unnecessary stress during an already difficult visit. I am sharing this feedback so it can be reviewed and to encourage clearer communication moving forward. QMC IUC reached back to me in a letter saying they attempted to call me about this interacting however I did not receive a call or even a voicemail message to confirm they actually reached out. The letter stated that the employee was spoken to but I don’t believe they did and just sent a generated letter to me.
Elizabeth 2 months agoEverybody is rude, from the receptionist to the nurse, and on phone call. I have had better care at other facilities. And as a healthcare professional myself I can assure you there are better options to receive care. There’s so much judgement and unprofessional behavior from the healthcare workers.
sydney lester 5 months agoCOLD BLOODED. I’m traveling with my very young family. We arrived late last night. My 2 year old has been sick for about a day when it became clear he has an ear infection. (He’s prone to them and is scheduled for tubes next month) We arrived 20 minutes before closing and the gal up front turned us away so they could clock out on time. TURNED MY 2 YEAR OLD WHO WAS CLEARLY VERY SICK, AWAY! Didn’t even try to ask a dr. if they had 5 minutes to peek in his ears. My husband is in private practice and we were APPALLED. I then went back to our family at our resort- 2 of which are Dr’s and were also appalled. Shame of this clinic. I couldn’t imagine turning away a clearly suffering toddler.
S C 3 months agoAlways over a 2 hour wait. Hire more doctors! No privacy, they ask you what you are there for and the symptoms right at the counter. What if its something more personal. I guess you'd have to lie and then tell them when you get called in. I couldn't recommend this place unless all other places are closed.
Sharisse Patacsil 7 months agoVery unprofessional staff. I’ve visited this facility multiple times with my children, and unfortunately, the experience has gotten worse each time. During our most recent visit, my son and I were made to feel like an inconvenience by nearly every staff member, with the exception of one medical assistant who was kind, professional, and treated my son with genuine care while taking his vitals. From the front desk to the provider and another medical assistant—who visibly threw up her hands and rolled her eyes when I asked for a doctor’s note—the behavior we experienced was unacceptable and unprofessional. No patient or parent should ever feel dismissed or disrespected. I do not recommend this location and encourage others to seek care somewhere they will actually be heard and treated with respect.
