Ava Johnson 5 months agoExtremely disappointed with this urgent care. As a fellow healthcare worker, it’s upsetting to see patients treated this way. The staff did not practice patient-centered care, and it was very apparent throughout my visit. I came in due to an occupational needlestick injury involving a used needle. The provider dismissed my concerns, made me uncomfortable by staring at me instead of engaging in conversation, and failed to ask clarifying questions even when he appeared confused. His demeanor felt uninterested and as though he believed I was overreacting. Unfortunately, the support staff did not help improve the situation. They were just as disengaged, dismissing my concerns and using language that made it seem as though they also felt I was overreacting. While a needlestick may not seem serious to him, this was my first one — and it involved a contaminated needle — which is understandably concerning for any healthcare worker. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I left feeling unheard and unseen. I will not be returning and would recommend seeking care elsewhere if possible. Unfortunately, patient-centered care is not a priority here.
Sarah Akande Frias Vega 4 months agoI'd honestly give it a zero. We walked in, took 3 hours just for nothing. Absolutely no treatment. I had a very bad sharp pain on my thigh because of an infected abcess. Which i needed to be drained because I'm a very active student athlete. The doctor just grabbed the very painful abcess violently. Then concluded in drawing a black marker around it. Not once did they even bother in asking if it hurt or not, or my personal experience with the pain. Then she tried to give me antibiotics which I have had a very bad experience with multiple times in the past. instead of just draining it and giving me a local antibiotic.
Rozendo Ganoy 6 months agoAbsolute trash urgent care. I showed up at 7 they told me we took our last patient just now. Make this make sense?!?! A little while before that they made me wait 2 hours for a doctor to see me which I waited another minimum of 30 minutes after I told them it was painful to sit. After I had to get my blood pressure done over 6 times back to back till there was a red mark on my arm. The Medical assistant said they weren't satisfied with my BP and kept taking it. It was Excruciating which I did complain about. After waiting another 30min of sitting and waiting while I was in alot of pain. The doctor came in finally took maybe 5 minutes and left. Make that make sense?!?!!!!
Mark Taylor 5 months agoI arrived at the clinic at about 6:15 pm on a weekday, seeking care for a skin problem. There were two people in line ahead of me. I was able to check in about 10 minutes after arriving and was seen by Dr. Sar about 15 minutes after that. He was friendly, attentive and professional. After reviewing my history and symptoms and doing some additional checks he very quickly reached a diagnosis and prescribed an appropriate prescription ointment. The prescription was called into the drugstore before I left and I was able to pick it up on the way home. It worked well to resolve the problem. Overall it was an efficient and low stress experience. Mahalo to Dr. Sar and the staff!
Ralph Leon Lary IV 9 months agoI have two little kids under age 7- so I've been to a few urgent cares in my day- and I have to say this is the worst urgent care experiences I've ever had. The staff were fine, wait time is to be expected, but the doctor- Dr S Nguyen, was awful on all levels- competency- bedside manner- overall demeanor. The first question she asked me when she came in was why I wasn't seeing my PCP. She only tested me for strep and not COVID even though I'm showing all the signs for Covid- so now I am dealing with incompetency. She is rude. Condescending. Sarcastic. And wouldn't leave me alone until I said I would just go see my pcp. I'm not the only one who thinks this either- if you go on her webmd profile there are others who have the same experience with her - they all say the same thing- rude, condescending and sarcastic. I was glad to read them bc I thought after I left, maybe she treated me a certain way based on something I did even though I was normal. At least I know that I wasn't the only one and that she's just a miserable human in general, at least at work. I don't need to be coddled when I see a doctor either- I've seen plenty doctors who are no nonsense- but at least they know what they are doing- and again- her rudeness is NEXT level. I will never go to this urgent care again, and before I left to go there I saw all of these negative reviews and almost didn't- wish I listened to my gut- I highly recommend you do not either.
