I would not recommend this place not even to an enemy, worst customer service ever, wait time to talk to an nurse or even a doctor more than 4 hours, On top of their sheer unwillingness to attend to anyone here, they take an eternity to do anything—even just to get you a glass of water. They refused to speak with my husband and me regarding his mother, who is currently admitted here, and told us to just go home because they would call us later. How can you leave a person in a hospital without a nurse or staff member having attended to them—without even knowing what is going on? Everyone just stands around chatting, laughing, and eating instead of helping; and to make matters worse, they spend their time badmouthing the patients. I asked to speak with a manager or a nurse supervisor, and they refused as well. And—aside from the sheer number of people lying on stretchers in the hallway, vomiting and crying in pain while the staff does nothing but eat, chat, and gossip about the patients—the floor is completely stained with blood, trash is everywhere, and the equipment is dirty and poorly sanitized; the stretcher pillowcases don't even look like they've been washed. I feel sorry for anyone who comes here seeking care.

Terrible experience here. Only triage was manageable. People are lying around all over in beds doesn’t seem organized. There’s no help button in the room, no tv and asked for water and crackers multiple times and was given nothing. I came to get drains taken out and they refused to help me. The best medical state in the U.S. and I live here and no one would help me. The plastic surgeons refused to come down to the ER to help me. I’m saddened and overwhelmed but I won’t let this bad care keep my down. I had clearance from my out of state doctor to get them removed. People in need SHOULD NOT BE REFUSED HELP AND CARE. I have insurance so that wasn’t the issue. It’s either a money thing or lack of care thing.

My best friend father died in this hospital, I was there when he died while his family went home just to refresh themselves I offered to stay with him, minutes latter 2 nurses came to his room and one of them asked me to wait outside, they were going to charge the linings. Minutes later the nurse went to get xtra towels because he said my best friend father(papa)had thrown up...minutes later papa died, his heart was working ok but I am sure that his dead got closer when they moved him to charge his sheets and clean him. As an advise, don't let your love ones alone, not all nurses have the qualities needed to care for humans. I know and I hope to never be treated in this location

This place would be amazing if they just did.a better job at arranging their staff there at certain hours and times! No excuses! Training needs to be daily on repeat for those who truly do not know how well to honor their patients families! No excuses! Who’s in charge of that! Do Better!

I was born at Boston City HOSPITAL and back in those day they had the best caring and experienced team NOWW THEY HAVE THE WORST EMERGENCY DEPT.. I showed up by ambulance because of a heart condition and they placed me in a hallway on a stretcher .. after that they moved me to a room right next to the nurse station where I heard them talking and laughing all night about other patients and they were talking about how much they would get paid for certain patients i laid in the room WITHOUT getting any help from a nurse or doctor and after sitting there for 16 hours I decided to sign myself out all of a sudden here comes a doctor and nurse !!!!! WOW WHERE YOU BEEN!!!! …. I am now talking to lawyers from out of state about a case against this hospital because they could have prevented everything I am going through now with my health they actually could have helped me but they wanted to talk about who will get the best paid patient !!! THE Doctors and nurses should have a supervisor who is hard on them in staff all night to over look the nonsense and if they don’t like their jobs and gossip is soooo important to them that should be their last night!!! The doctors and nurses should have been fired that night 16 hours for a patient who comes in with a heart condition is WRONG AND I PRAY THAT THE PERSON RESPONDING TO THESE REVIEWS REALLY LOOK AT THIS BEVAUSE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN YOUR FAMILY MEMBER !!!! Well we will see!!!
