Was taken at a very reasonable wait time. Receptionist, nurse and Doctor were unbelievable kind, caring, considerate and so eager to make me feel better. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend this clinic.

I visited for an ankle injury. I was not offered any sort of crutch or wheel chair and staff seemed impatient with how slow I was moving (I could not put any weight on one leg). Front desk staff repeatedly cut me off during the check in process. Only one staff member, Alex, offered me ice for my injury and had bedside manner. He’s why this is two stars instead of one. Care was fast but I suspect because I was one of three patients and it was at the expense of feeling actually cared for. Highly recommend this location if you want to be made to feel like a nuisance or just a task to get done as quickly as possible. I also did not appreciate that intake forms asked for preferred name and pronouns only for none of the staff to use or respect them - they are either not reading this part of the intake paperwork or they are and they don’t care. This was the most upsetting part of the visit, which says a lot given the physical pain and discomfort. If is regrettable that this location seems to be lacking funding and staff (I know how stressful those work environments can be) but I don’t see that as a reason why I was offered no sort of physical aid or relief, or why my correct name was not used. Please do better with this next time.

Made a last minute appointment. Got there right on time and still had to wait in the empty waiting room. I don’t understand that especially not seeing any other patients inside the office area or anyone leaving after I came. Otherwise fine and convenient and friendly urgent care.

I had an excellent experience at Carewell Urgent Care in Cambridge. The receptionist was friendly & professional. My wait wasn’t long. The assistant was kind & gentle. The Doctor that treated me, he was attentive, thorough and provided me with quality medical care.

Special shout out to the wonderful young lady working the in-take desk during my visit. She not only squeezed me in the last appointment of the night shortly after 7pm. Walked me through online pre-registration so I could be seen by the Doctor upon arrival. Unfortunately it was up in the air whether my insurance was accepted, she was patient and polite while walking me through the paperwork and as it turns out my insurance was accepted! I did not catch her name but she was working by herself this Saturday night 3/7/26. Her calming demeanor was a breath of fresh air as these impromptu visits can be stressful. The Nurse was very kind and efficient. Although I did not catch her name. Ironically enough the Doctor on duty was named Cesar and it was easy to remember as he had entered the room I was waiting in to be seen as if he was the main attraction at a circus. Roaring into the room and in a very loud and obnoxious way announced his name CESAR. I had no problem with the introduction as maybe that’s his skit to break the ice with random patients. What really struck me odd is that I listed the only two allergies I had not only on my intake paperwork but to the nurse who took my vitals. Documented twice during my visit and I also signed over my medical records where it would clearly be stated I had two allergies. Amoxicillin & Penicillin, perhaps the Dr was too busy trying to put on a spectacle he over looked that and wrote out a script for Amoxicillin. Everything is done virtually now so I had already left the office before receiving my dismissal documents via text. Already in the uber on my way to the pharmacy, I had to cancel it and rush back to the office as it closed at 8pm. I arrived back right before they locked the door and again, the only saving grace of my 1 star review was the fantastic woman at the front who allowed me in and explained to Dr Cesar what had happened. He gave me a not so genuine apology and stated it wasn’t in the notes, and wrote me a new prescription that wouldn’t kill me. The woman who was seen before me had asked for his name to be spelled out as she was very upset with what ever had gone on during her visit with said Doctor. I generally do not write any reviews in this manner but when it comes to allergies and peoples well being, this needed to be shared. Whether it’s a scheduled check up, emergency room, or urgent care visit the patients allergies and overall health should be the #1 focus and concern. Mistakes happen I get it, especially when you’re dealing with people’s lives and getting cut the biggest paycheck in the building. You should be on your A-game!
